@@AvgJoe-ru8tjhe was still honest about it. He got caught and admitted that he did do it. 99% of fighters that get caught still lie that they had no idea how the steroids got into their system
@@AvgJoe-ru8tj I was about to say the same thing lol. But he was younger back then and was an active fighter, he could be a changed man now and be actually honest about things.
@@bilogskii2216 true, by the way I'm a fan of shane. It's just that people always say he so righteous just because he is well spoken. Sometimes that's not the case.
Say what you want about Oscar but the boy fought everyone in their prime never ducked any fighter unlike fighters these days. Oscar is a true warrior and a legend.
@@StanStacks He got Robbed against Trinidad, he was weight drained against Pacquiao , a lot of analysts thought he beat Mosley in the rematch , Hopkins was just to big for Oscar and there's a reason Floyd didn't give Oscar the rematch.
Mosley is a stand up guy. He might not agree with everything his friend does, but you can tell he still has his back. He is right about yes men being bad for business.
@@GlocklovinBob I agree with those same names, but I think Pryor might’ve been in front of Shane at #3. Although Shane was a big lightweight, and was knocking everybody out at that weight, I think Pryor would’ve beat Shane and Chavez.
@@user-of9qq6op5u True, but he did, and he loss twice to him. It wasn’t too early, they fought in the amateurs as well. Forest ended Shane’s Olympic dream. Vernon was just a bad matchup for Shane, just like Thomas Hearns would’ve been for Floyd Mayweather. I just think Pryor’s style would’ve gave Shane serious problems, and Shane wasn’t knocking out Pryor. I was a huge fan of Mosley growing up. Even trained at the same gym with him in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. He was a helluva fighter at all weight classes he fought at, but he was destroying everyone at lightweight.
I respect Oscar in the ring back in the 90s I thought he was a pretty boy I wasn't feeling him at first but he was tough and Oscar didn't duck anybody he even fought bigger guys Oscar did some things out of the ring that I don't agree with but in the ring Oscar and Mosley were warriors 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💯
@@plforeal4392 Facts he was tough he even fought a bigger and a prime Bernard Hopkins I respect him for fighting him because he didn't have to I thought he outboxed Trinidad I rooted for Trinidad but Oscar could have won if he didn't run in the last round even though his corner told him to and he did good against Floyd he won the first half of the fight hes definitely a great
@@jamaaldavis3222 man! I bet on Trinidad that fight. Couldn’t even collect on it because I was soo disappointed in the decision, and I developed a new respect for Oscar that night.
@@wallacepemberton932 yeah man I thought Trinidad was gonna knock him out but Oscar was too fast the hype leading up to the fight was huge Trinidad was good too out here where I live Bridgeport Connecticut The Ricans would go crazy every time Trinidad won the streets would be packed with big partys and then the same with cotto but I remember I watched Trinidad fight Bernard I was with my kids mother and her family They are Puerto Rican they were pissed when Hopkins beat Trinidad but Hopkins is great especially starting late in boxing that whole era was great alot of classic fights
@jamaaldavis3222 Yea I was scheduled to go to the Hopkins vs Trinidad fight September 15th, 2001 Madison Square Garden. Then September 11 hit that Tuesday and the fight was postponed a couple weeks. I end up watching the fight at buddies friend crib here in St. Louis That was the first unification of the Middleweight division since Hagler in the 80s .
You can tell when a mf been punched in the head a lot of times by the eyes. His speech does seem better than it was in the previous years however. Glad to see Shane still rocking and rolling! 🥊
I just have a upper level of respect towards Shane he was and still is a solid dude and even him and Oscar have differences he still stood up for him i never thought Oscar was gay he was on bullshit no doubt but everyone who knows him would know better than anyone that Oscar loves women and shane would know him very well since they were six years old so he knows better than anyone.
It's plenty married dudes that still do homosexual stuff Oscar get off that powder and start liking men 😂😂 dude either gay or really really likes Rupaul
The way he described everyone on the team when they were young all over the team, I can almost picture myself there with Mosley, Oscar, Raul, Byrd etc.
@@thatbronzeboij yep but his speech here is way better than others i’ve seen him in. That leads me to believe he was just a bit more drunk in those interviews. Here, maybe just tipsy. But all those shots to the head definitely didnt help.
@@DankBuds36the early 90s yes but Chavez wasn’t the same by 93 and Tyson was in prison by 95 de la Hoya was unifying championships and dominating paperview
For those of you who never saw shane fight in hes prime boy oh boy this man was something special to watch hes speed and power was off the charts definitely one of my favorite fighters to watch
@@ElMensajero-hs4qz I used to promote rooftop events at the Jw Marriott in Downtown L.A between 2009 - 2012. All types of celebrities used to stop by! Great times!!
They dressed up that Mexican cartel opp and made him take pics, fucking pics don’t mean shit, nobody’s saying someone made Oscar do that, but cocaines a bell of a drug and when you’re high and with some chicks late night you’ll do a lot of crazy things to get their clothes off! If I gotta put their clothes on to get them off of them…that’s happening! Bahahaha @@faustomedina13
Talked to him for like an hour a Pechanga in 1995. He's a little punchy now, but not as bad as he should be with how long he fought and all the3 shots he took, especially when he was past his prime. He's surprisingly coherent.
Art finally looking at the bigger picture! You can’t just talk about 2Pac for the rest of your life, you gotta expand and tap into a bigger audience. This YT account has the potential to have millions of subs one day and make MILLIONS 💰
He been did tho. But let's be real this a 2pac/90s page will always be. But it's been some iconic interviews from other people. Keith Murray, Aries Spears, etc.
something tells me shane is gonna tell us great stories as the years go on, hopefully well into his old age....and im all for it lol - great champion, legend for sure.....
WhT don’t we know bout your long haired weird ass?? AND BRAIDED!?!? Look who’s shouting out from the glass houses! 🫣😂😆 bro you just done exposed yerself foo ! Bahahaha 🤣
After the interviewer said, “Well… I hope you right”. Shane should have looked at him, rolled his eyes and said, “Well it’s obvious you have your mind already made up and nothing I can say will change that, so next question.”
@@brooksfleming7643 *sigh* Then don’t ask the question if you already know the answer. And after you do hear the answer, respond like you never heard it. Kinda defeats the purpose, doesn’t it?
Shane also said two things at once. Pay attention. He also says “them drugs make you do strange things”. Shane is not with that man behind closed doors and seemingly especially not around him when he’s high. You must be Mexican 😄
I could see Oscar being persuaded to dress up like that by whatever chick he was with when he was on a coke bender. The fact that he had the boxing gloves on in the pictures and he was posing like a boxer - it seemed like whoever took the photos was making fun of him when he was out of his head.
its obvious the lady who took the pictures was trying to use it to blackmail him to get some money. he refused whatever amount she requested and thw pictures were realsed. thats why he later denied the picture and then eventually admited they were real. im a fking genius and im definitely 100% right 😂
The FAME, MONEY, WOMEN, and having access/being allowed into certain places/circles are what got to Oscar. When you add Drugs to that, it can change you and have you doing "weird shit". We've seen it happen to so many Celebrities.
