ReziK sure he did, but he hasn’t won a single one of those 4 fights (all which by the way are against lesser opposition) by KO. Before you bring up Carson Jones, that was a stool retirement not a KO/TKO. As far as I’m concerned, Antonio Margarito’s real professional boxing record is 4-3 0KO. He’s a low life piece of shit and I’m glad he suffered the injury he got from Pac-Man. This ranks along with Luis Resto and James Butler.

There was never true evidence that Margarito used plaster of Paris. The only one is a bandage from Mosley fight that MOSLEY TEAM TOOK, NOT THE COMMISSIONERS. It’s not even legal to take others team bandage, they can easily manipulate them. Commissioners check every second of preparation before the fight, it’s impossible to use plaster nowadays. Cotto is a legend but he always bring excuses to the table when he loses. Just like he said judges robbed him the fight against Canelo and many others.

What Shane neglects to mention when comparing the 2 fights with Cotto is that the 2nd fight was at 154. 154 favors the 5'11" Margarito. Yet in spite of coming in bigger, he didn't do anywhere near the damage he did at 147.

But i know that the history would be different if they allowed him to fight with the plaster. I saw Cotto closely when he arrived after the fight in P.R and i saw hundreds of boxers in my careers and i never saw something like that. Cotto have swelling behind his head, over and on the sides too.

Cotto’s face got swollen almost every fight after the first Antonio fight so I think it permanently damaged him.. so I think that’s why he looked the way he did at the end of the fight.

Cotto had scrapes on his face from Margacheato's braids. You cannot compare the difference between Cotto's face after the first fight and the second. Cotto had never been that badly cut up and that swollen before, and Margacheato had never caused so much trauma to any other fighter he fought. Also, Margacheato was hitting Cotto (in fight one) in the body. Anyone who claims Margacheato didn't use plaster in his hand wraps against Cotto is blatantly lying -- or a very ignorant person.

The worst part about these hand wraps is that Margarito could have killed one of these Sportsmen. Getting punched to the head repeatedly is bad enough but being repeatedly punched to the head with hands that are wrapped in Plaster Of Paris is Insane. The truth comes out and He's suspended from Boxing for One Year!!!! These Boxers today are making so much money they'd probably take A year between title fights anyway. Damn. I got done listening to Margarito’s side on Un Round Mas podcast and his biggest gripe was that Richardson took the wraps rather then the commission. They were not the first to handle them or seal them. At 1:03 Mosley states Richardson brought the hand wraps to Mosley in his dressing room confirming Margarito’s gripe. Haha this story is crazy man.

Aaaanyway, I already said this on here, but the greatest evidence for Margarito using plaster in previous fights was not the Cotto fight, but rather the Sebastian Lujan fight. Antonio literally tore half that man's ear off. Never had I seen that before, or since. Take a look at fight on RU-vid if you've never seen it before. Pretty damning evidence, in my opinion. Bleeding from inside the ear is common, tearing a man's ear off is not.

I remember before he got busted in the Mosley fight. Me and my brother, both lifelong boxing fans, would discuss Margarito. And I would always say “I do not understand how he is hurting people the way he is with those punches. They are so slow, they look like they’re not having much impact or snap at all, yet he is still busting people up bad.“ so needless to say I was shocked, but not surprised when he was caught with the plaster of Paris. It was good to see Pacquiao beat him to a pulp, and also Cotto to get his revenge. But in reality, he should never have been allowed to box again. And he also should’ve been charged with assault and battery and possibly attempted murder for what he did to Cotto, and who knows who else he did it to.

Ive always been scared of wraps bc they are so many ways u can wrap your hands for more power support and i dont thinks its fair. The wrap main purpose is suppose to protect the wrist. The coach shouldnt wrap fighters hands in the match. There should be someone mutual wrapping both fighters hands in the locker room.

I still never got a thank you. I single handily took the crowd out of the fight. Everytime they cheered for Margarito when they were done i would yell MOOOOOOOOSLYYYYYY. The largely Mexican crowd made jokes about jumping me but it was a great night.

This is a credit to floyd man. Shane was considered old as a athlete when he beat margarito but truth be told shane looked fuckin good man. He got in fuckin shape at around 2009-2010. He rejuvenated his self those 2 years. As I said in the 3 fight between duran and Leonard and those 2 haters looked like shit at 37. Whereas shane and floyd still looked good at that age. So duran and leonard can go to hell hating on floyd. The shane that floyd fought could have beaten any welterweight in 2010. Period. Shane looked good, floyd just beat him.

The fight where you can make the biggest claim that Margarito probably used illegal handwraps in other fights, was against Sebastian Lujan. Check that fight out on RU-vid. Margarito tore that man's ear halfway off. That's the first and only time I've ever seen that in a boxing ring.

It's because his trainer, Javier Capetillo, fell on his sword and bit the bullet by stating that he wrapped Antonio's hands with plaster without his knowledge. Which was another clear lie, but it worked well enough to keep Margarito from being permanently banned like Capetillo was. Don't believe everything you hear, bud.

Margarito was about 250 pounds in weight 1 month before the Mosley fight. And they knew it. Margarito didn’t want to fight cause he would not make weight. He just did it for money. But he was dead before the fight. So… please Mosley stop saying that you knew you would beat him cause of his style. Stfu.
