@@jaypeee97 - they had 7 months to prepare and watch film. They couldn't even get a field goal, and most of these kickers can hit from 60+ yards away. They had one shot at some points ... and even that went the other way for 6. There is incredible parity in the NFL. Any team can beat any other team on any given Sunday. Or is there? Maybe the Cowboys are just that good.
Lol then why are ESPNs ratings so darn low. There aren't enough of you negros to keep this station afloat and that commentary is only appealing to negros.
The switch up is crazy. People were hyping up the Giants all off-season, but after the Cowboys beat the brakes off of them people are now downplaying the Giants. Cowboys really won’t get any real respect unless they win the Super Bowl.
I'm a Black Dallas fan and it's a shame how hard they come down on Dak, last 4 super bowls have been Mahommes, Brady and Stafford, so every other quarterback is in the same category
The blind faith take by Ryan Clark was gold "Evidence in things not seen. I ain't got to see it.", lol!!! Love this team up with Shannon , Stephen A and Ryan Clark.
Hebrews 11:1-6 NKJV Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible
I don’t care how bad a team is, shutting them out with a 40 burger speaks volumes to the team that won. If it wasn’t the Cowboys, they’d be getting all the praise in the world.
Right, my team is getting credit for whipping The Steelers but no one is discounting the dominance based on The Steelers being mostly a mediocre type team. I understand it's a different context because The Niners have been to a SB and a few conference championships over the last few seasons, but still, The Cowboys had the most impressive win of the week! Without a doubt! They whipped a playoff team in their house, on national television! I am hopeful that we will get a Niners vs Cowboys NFC Conference Championship game, taking me back to the 70's, 80's, and 90's! The Eagles will have something to say about it and i think there will be another nfc team that rises up and surprises(The Saints?) Gonna be one heck of a season!! Football is back baby!!
As a niners fan and certified Cowboys hater, I completely agree with you... there must be no middle ground as the cowboys, either they get dogged by the media or praised ridiculously
Ryan Clark with the Superbowl proclamation 😂 Football is back and I love it. The true test for the Cowboys is how they're playing in December and January!
THANK YOU...This is the ONLY fanbase that consistently watch this team LOSE in true fashion EVERY year come January. Like Shannon says, at some point this team HAS TO SHOW when it counts, and Ryan is historically known for HORRIBLE predictions 😂 😂 SuperBowl? The Cowboys? and we're saying this in September? AGAIN?????? THEY DON'T LEARN. You won't see not one name back here come January that is Hyping this BS yet again....But I'll definitely be BACK, this one is Saved For LATER 🤣 🤣
Cowboys always have one of these blowout games every year 43-3 vs Falcons in 2021 40-3 vs Vikings in 2022 It means nothing if you can't consistently perform like this, especially in the playoffs...
Everyone keeps ignoring the fact that it was POURING rain last night and it effected both teams offensively. They keep saying the offense underperformed, I say they did what was needed. No turn overs and put up 20+ points. People will say anything to hate on a good win, no matter who the team is
Imagine them actually building chemistry and playing defense this good going into week five. As a depressed Cowboys fan, I might still be suspicious to see where they can really go with it. 😂
@@justingagnier1394it was in a rain storm… why do you think Hurts and Burrow also played so poorly. Dak also had 6 dropped passes, two of which were probably touchdowns. Keep hating though.
Bro as long that ur defense is on lock and less throwing from dak. U guys could have a shot but don’t let this win be how ur season is going to go. Cause at the end of the day u guys played the giants bro like who is tf is scared to play against Daniel Jones😂
he was talking about the GIANTS, when he says "they are who I thought they were" lol. I'm convince most of you guys don't actually listen by the amount of likes your comment get.
Remember Troy Aikman was not considered an elite quarterback either, but the Cowboys had a killer defense, oline and a RB, TE and WR that were at the top of their game. Thing is Troy did up his game as he got to the SB. DAK needs to do the same.
Troy WAS elite, but he was in the company of Young, Marino, Elway, Kelly, and Favre. His stats were always overshadowed by those guys, but much of that is because of #22.
Must either be too young to say that about Troy. He is easily the best quarterback Dallas has ever had. You can take the 3 championships away if he wasn’t playing.
It's very difficult to shut out an NFL team and the Cowboys dominated on defense/special teams. The offense scored 3 times, and didn't need Dak to throw for 400 yards. I prefer this system for Dak. This defense can carry us to the NFC Championship game. Go Cowboys!
Exactly. They act like Dak can't throw 400 yards with 3+ TD's. He's done it before. Remember when the Bears made it to the Superbowl with Rex Grossman? We don't need Dak to be Arod or Tom Brady out there. Just be Dak and don't turn it over. That's exactly what he did last night.
As a Cowboys fan I have to agree, THIS IS JUST THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON, I hate it when we say "OMG WE GOIN TO DA SUPERBOWL" off of one game, now if this was the playoffs and we won enough games THEN I could say something like that
*PLAYOFFS??!?!?! DON’T TALK ABOUT PLAYOFFS?!?!?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?! PLAYOFFS?!?!?!?!?!?! THEY’RE GONNA LOSE WHEN THEY GET THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
@@Stutterin_Steves Who's telling you that they are going to the Superbowl? I haven't met a single Dallas fan who has been talking about how they are gonna win the Superbowl this year.
The offensive numbers didn’t have to be impressive for the cowboys last night. Already being up 2 scores thanks to the defense and special teams. They played clean football and didn’t turn the ball over. All three phases of the hall helped win this game last night.
Hebrews 11:1-6 NKJV Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible
The boyz did great yesterday. Amazing defensive and special teams performance last night. Dak will only continue to get better as the weeks go on. I try not to look too much into the passing game as the conditions were rough last night. Beating a team 40-0 in the NFL is impressive no matter who the opponent is.
Cowboys fan here, i hope we don't let this get to our heads. The Giants don't exactly have the best O line. But man i enjoyed watching them get fucked up 😂😂
The cowboys did exactly what I thought they would. Dak played okay, they ran the ball extremely well, the defense was sensational and they played the Giants. Dak is 28-7 vs the NFC East in his career. Wake me up when they beat Philly or San Fran.
But Dak Prescott has been in the league since 2016 and the Eagles have had 2 different starting QB since then and also the Eagles have gone to 2 Super Bowls. Dak being 28-7 towards NFC can be whatever you want it to be but a team within his own division went to 2 Super bowls. Those Super Bowl trips overshadowed Adams record in the NFC east.
It’s a lose/lose for Cowboy’s fans. We blow out the Giants, they downplay the Giants. We win by a close margin, they talk about the mistakes made, Dak’s play, and the missed opportunities to put more pts on the board. Everybody in here knows the convo that would’ve been had if we lost. It’s a lose/lose!
Ryan clack has to be my favorite sports analyst. He just so non bias and real! I like how he always brings up the context in which Dak box score stats look. Keep tellin em
I'm glad Clark mentioned Bell. He should have played last season but the safety room was too deep. With overshown getting injured they moved Bell to linebacker to make sure he gets on the field more and he took full advantage.
This is the Cowboys...why people get Hyped EVERY year is beyond me as if they forget the Cowboys biggest problem. CONSISTENCY....This is Week 1, will they do this come Playoff time? all that matters to those tired of the disappointing END...not beginning, The END has been CONSISTENTLY Horrible. We Shall SEE...I will definitely Revisit this Comment come Playoff time. Something tells me I won't be the only one revisiting THIS video about putting the League on Notice. OK...👍
Same here, I was seriously searching for a comment like this. Cowboys going to the superbowl after week 1 is the epitome of delusion. Thank you for seeing what I'm seeing 💯 I'm revisiting as well
Oh but a lot of these mfs will say the 49ers put the league on notice after crushing the Steelers we did are job and didn’t allow no points just accept greatness 💀‼️
Look, as a Cowboys fan for over 40 years ... this is the BEST DALLAS DEFENSE of all time. Period. We've had some good defenses in the past, some of them dominant. But I've never seen anything like this defense. They just take over games. This defense is SO GOOD, the offense could have punted on 1st down every possession ... and the Dallas Cowboys would have STILL WON THE GAME!! That's incredible. And that's against a division rival ... on the road ... in the rain ... with both teams having 7 MONTHS to game plan this game. Only thing left to decide ... is this the best NFL defense of all time? Not saying it is. But ... let the comparisons begin. Who's better?
Are u saying this defense is better than the fabled Doomsday Defense of the 70's and 80's with Randy White, Harvey Martin, Too Tall Jones, Cliff Harris and Hollywood Henderson. What about the 90's defense with Deion Sanders and Charles Haley and co. Sorry but it's only one game, I'm not ready to make that declaration just yet. This defense has to show much more .
I think what's being totally missed in this win is how the offense generated points. It wasn't on dak to make big plays. It was the run game. As long as the cowboys limit dak's responsibilities to just making the easy slant passes and occasional deep wide open passes, the run game will carry them on offense and the defense will continue chipping in some points but mostly will shutdown the opposing offense. This is the only way cowboys can get to the superbowl imo
Why y’all keep defending Dak??? The cowboys are the most underachieved team in the past 4 years. It’s clear Cowboys have a superbowl team but it’s him they can’t win with. There’s always gonna be that one game when you’re gonna need some extra juice from someone and Dak isn’t it. The defense and offense can do so much, but it’s gonna come down to him eventually and he can’t do it. It’s like last season, top to bottom the eagles were a better team. But when it came down to business, the chiefs has that it factor in the most important position that can push them the extra miles.
It’s amazing the standard that dak is held to compared to ANYBODY else.. it’s impossible to live up to that kind of expectation and yet he’s still there. You give any other qb that kind of pressure and they would have alrdy quit.. but no one outside the cowboys fan base will admit that.
It would be if the Cowboys weren’t pulling these stunts every year. 2019: Cowboys 37-10 Eagles Missed the playoffs losing to the Eagles 2021: Cowboys 43-3 Falcons Lost wild card to 49ers 2022: Cowboys 40-3 Vikings (8-1) Lost in Divisional to 49ers 2023: Cowboys 40-0 Giants We all know how this ends.
"Saquon Barkley and a bag of chips."🤣🤣 So true! And the Giants had the nerve to pay💰Daniel Jones but NOT pay Saquon. The Giants are going to keep getting what they deserve: Beatdowns.
Giants paid the qb the market vaule which DJ is dead last in paid qbs. a It was both Barkely and DJ who took us to playoffs last year. DJ had basically the same stats has hurts. Difference is DJ had 30th ranked o line vs hurts #1 o line and DJ dead last ranked weapons to Hurts #2. Hurts rushed for 760 Jones 708. 13 rushing tds for Hurts vs Jones 7. Hurts 22 pass tds to DJs 15. Hurts 66.5 completion percentage to DJs 67.2%. Point is DJ is not garbage like all the haters say. He is no Mahomes agreed, but considering Giants had a low first round pick they were not gonna get a qb. His contract is conditional Giants can walk in 2 years if needed and no teams are paying their running backs🤷♂️ Its cheaper to tag them.
This is the funny part about this discussion. dak didnt need to put up big numbers and he wont in a blowout because thats how McCarthy wants it to be. He wants to control the clock. Dallas ran for over 100+ yards and had 3 rushing touchdowns. Dallas also had a dropped passing touchdown leaving 7 off the board. No more Garrett era in Dallas
