You should look into the entire Franchise! Every game is gold!! Except the first, that one have not aged that well.. But it is by far the biggest game of them all, and it is good.. but not as great as the others. But the first three Should be played in order.. since they are a trilogy that reference events in the previous games.. 1/2 Genie Hero is the worst of the bunch (still good though) and is not part of the original trilogy..

The games are really good so anyone deserves to play it

I enjoyed Risky's Revenge DX because I like the idea of having a DSi game being ported over to PC. It also means my shitmobile of a computer can run it without any frames being dropped. Plus I'm really just a sucker for retro-styled games that are actually just retro because the technology at the time wasn't that advanced. Pirate's Curse also used the pixelated style, but it was on the 3DS. The 3DS was already capable of much more than the DSi.

Well hey we are getting a fifth installment. Plus, I think Half Genie is a soft reboot to bring in more fans. Hence the dlc and etc.
