We shaved the Ford 10.5 axle housing! My friend Joe kindly offered his mill and machining skills in exchange for a bottle of silver tequila. We used a 3" fly cutter and took around .075" each pass. We went slow and easy to make sure we didn't rotate the housing in my home made clamps. The whole process took about 3 hours. Clamps did awesome by the way.
