I honestly find both shows baffling at how they can take characters that have been proven to work and then butcher them to such an extent. Batwoman/batgirl has been represented many, many times and successfully, even the more modern example of the harley quinn show (which in terms of DC is amongst the best animated series if you ask me) makes her an alright character, far from great like Harley and the rest but still a fairly good/average character that isn't inherently bad. She Hulk has even been portrayed in animated series before and once again it was done somewhat well. TL;DR if they actually bothered to research the well writtens characters they were making a show about we might've not ended up with this, emphasise on the "might".

Ive never heard of this MtS lady, which makes me laugh that they act like she is so special, but another thing I think is funny about this whole situation is that the writers think a man with lots of money, that thinks of women like objects as much as the strawman they wrote, would value a woman for celebrity status over a shapeshifter that can perfectly look like any woman at any time. He would probably be the kind of guy that gets board of being with the same woman all the time, and through the shapeshifter, he could just have her switch it up.

Not to mention it would give us more insight to how she manages her powers or how they work. The scene that comes to mind is in Black Lightning season 2 where Anissa tells Jen that jogging is good for the lungs, which means she can hold her breath longer, which means she can use her powers longer. (we also find out in that scene that neither of them have had cramps with a period since their powers kicked in, which is information I didn't personally need, but interesting nonetheless) Scenes like that are cool! But of course, that would require actual brainpower, and it's pretty clear none of that's on display here.

One thing I will say about the show, you cringe from start to finish, hoping that at some point you’ll get a nugget of good content, only to have your balls metaphorically smashed by Jen walkers size 14 foot the entire time. My point is that the show isn’t nearly long enough to induce suicide, but by the end of it you’ll be in the same exact place you started. Hungered for something to watch, and wondering if you had even watched at all.

Patience...Batwhamans had 3 seasons and multiple cringe actors to achieve it's status. You can't just make something that cringe in a few episodes . - Rings of Power; 'hold my beer.'

Batwoman had a low budget and thus bottom tier writers. It was the lowest tier Arrowverse show, so having writing that matches its overall quality is somewhat understandable. She-Hulk clearly has some budget, getting cameos from several famous MCU characters. There's no excuse for the poor writing.

At least that does away with the idea that they're depicting white men as villains, considering almost all of those are white men.

A lot of the criticisms that were highlighted in episode 3 were straw men. They're simplistically represented points that are set up to be easily defeated. They don't address the real criticisms of the show, the MCU, or the studio.

That said, the criticisms there are the same ones these people respond to in real life. I've seen recent interviews by access media, where they lob softball questions, and the responses are basically the counterarguments to what was lobbed in episode 3. (people are upset women are superheroes, etc). So the writers in the show, and in the real world talking about the show, all portray the criticisms the same. And the defenders of the show who aren't access media, operate from that same script. It's sad, really.
