SHE HULK FINALE Review | The Worst of the M-SHE-U 

You either die an Endgame, or live long enough to see yourself become a She Hulk.

The most unrealistic part of this show is that redditors actually meet up in real life

Jen: DEMANDS that the manager gives her Daredevil as her boyfriend/sex toy. Daredevil: DOESN’T get a choice. I’m genuinely surprised the next scene didn’t include Jen preaching to a client about consent.

Also, reminder that Jennifer never apologized to her cousin about her belittling of him and his experiences as a Hulk, a superhero, a suicide survivor, and (potentially) an abuse survivor in Episode 1, and literally broke reality and rewrote the memories of Bruce, her friends, her family, her boss, and Daredevil in order to avoid the consequences of her actions.

According to her own words, Jessica Gao threatened to quit at the finish line because Kevin Feige didn't agree with giving the robot a baseball cap, and Kevin said "Okay, it was nice working with you". It took someone ELSE to suggest a compromise that they would agree with and save her job (giving the robot a hat-like design) but how uncreative and petty was Jessica to play chicken with her job and the show's reputation just because she didn't get her way?

"And after She-Hulk went on a rampage at a public event, caused loads of property damage, and put innocent lives in danger, the very first thing we learn is that the DA is not filing any charges and she's getting released." To be fair, that's completely accurate for California.

We've watched Loki, Hawkeye, Thor, and Dr. Strange be damn near bystanders next to their female counterparts, yet Jen was mad Hulk showed up to help her because it was "her show."

This is what happens when you hire a group of alcoholic single 40 year old rich women from Hollywood. The budget for this show shocks me. Breaking Bads budget for the ENTIRE final season was roughly $50M being conservative. That is TWO episodes of this absolute dumpster fire.

The writers apparently went on record to say they wrote the show exactly the troll the internet. And almost got fired (dammit Fiege, you had one job). And somehow got 25M per episode for that. Somehow Disney took a dive while I already assumed it was already at the bottom.

What SHOULD have been the show is how it was in the comics, Jen gets saved by Bruce after a drive-by with a blood transfusion. He immediately is called off-world after teaching her the basics of being Hulk, (And she’s not a narcissistic c*nt in this version) then throughout the show while dealing with lawyer problems day-to-day, she’s dealing with attacks from A.I.M who’s trying to steal her blood. She teams up with Daredevil and (begrudgingly) the Abomination to take on the Leader, who’s attempting to find ways to grow his own army of Hulk Super Solders. THAT’s how easy it could have been to make a good series, not this wine mom crap that’s not even remotely funny at ALL.

The whole She-Hulk writing crew should be fired publicly and made sure to never, ever write another show/movie. And then Kevin Feige should apologize to the fans in the next marvel comic-con.

Anyone who thought her being a POS was a part of her character arc hasn't been paying attention. They don't see it as a character flaw

Jessica Gao actually almost quit the series when Kevin Feige said that giving the KEVIN robot a hat like his made no sense. When she said she'd quit, he was actually okay with that... Until a mediator came in and a compromise was made.

Rumor has it that the budget for 3 episodes of this show, was MORE of a budget than the entirety of the first Deadpool movie. DEADPOOL.

So Jen had a problem with Bruce dropping out of nowhere to help her out, but she didn’t have a problem with Daredevil dropping out of nowhere to help her out. No. Problem. At. All.

When I first saw Todd turning into a hulk, I saw it out of context. I legit thought it was a hulk parody, I never thought it's actually a part of the episode.

The non-Banner made inhibitor is particularly frustrating to me because the solution is so simple: don't call it an inhibitor. Just call it a monitor that reports when/if the person transforms. Boom, no other script changes needed. I don't know of a single scene where the device is actually inhibiting anyone.

Okay... my head-canon is that Jenn was severeky injured in the car-accident at the start and this series are the last spasms of her dying brain or a fever or head-injury induced hallucination.

Jennifer NEVER TAKES RESPONSIBILITY OR ACCOUNTABILITY FOR HER ACTIONS AND. AND SHE TAKES IT A STEP FURTHER AND LITERALLY REWRITES REALITY. IN ORDER FOR HER TO SKIP TAKING ACCOUNTABILITY. But she wants other people to take responsibilities for there actions.

She-Hulk Karens out so hard that she not only stops the show to speak to the manager, she then demands to speak to THEIR manager. And it’s telling that the only way Jen can get a boyfriend is by yelling at the manager until one’s given to her.

Thorias, I laughed our loud several times during this review. Your blood pressure is not happy, but what you do makes your piece of the world a happier place to be. You make a real difference when you make people laugh. Laughter is unifying. As we face the apocalypse, I salute you. You're not curing cancer, you're just providing soul consolation. Her cousin literally comes back to help her after only God knows what he did in outer space but she thinks it's stealing her thunder but she wants daredevil cause "momma has needs". With family like this who needs enemies 😂

That's it. You nailed it. Jen starts not wanting to be She-Hulk, then she found out it made her famous, money, and sexy. So, now she does. The end. Yayyyyy

I loved this series. And by ”this series” I mean Thorias’ reviews.

I mean the fact Jen had no idea it was Todd all along is comical. Someone who was right in front of her face asking weird questions if she could be stabbed by vibranium and to then show her a vibranium spear. Come on any smart person would put two and two together.

Something that you forgot to mention, she hulk is now the most OP MCU character right now. As long as she can convince Kevin, she can rewrite reality as she wishes. And she can also travel back in time to previous movies and change them. So now whenever anyone is in trouble and Jen knows about it, there will always be the question of why she isn't breaking the fourth wall again. Even just as means of escaping danger.

Honestly, the most significant opportunity was Jen not bringing up the Fantastic Four, primarily when, in the comics, she worked with them on a few occasions. Hell, she could have questions about when the cast will finally be announced or if John Krasinski can still play another version of Reed Richards(I despised what they did with him in MoM, not to mention them even admitting they originally planned for the character to be used in the post-credit scene).

Jen being revealed as a Skrull impostor makes a lot of sense.

The show was so stunning and brave that Season 2 is not even gonna happen according to Maslany in an interview 😂

phase 4 has a nasty habit of skipping fight scenes to do a "Super easy, barely an inconvenient" scenes.

So in other words, this episode is pretty much them jumping the shark, but jumping every possible shark in a ten mile radius.

Seriois question. how the hell, back in the day, did the writers of The Incredible Hulk series manage to give The Hulk an actual cvharacter, and one which developed over the episodes, and yet modern hacks seem incapable of just writing?

And honestly, the best way for the finale to redeem the show was to have Jen be taken into The Raft, and cut to her getting sadder and sadder until she's in her cell, where she starts to sob once she's alone. When her friends show up, she starts bawling and says "Bruce was right" as she looks at the camera. But, of course, why would she _ever_ admit that her cousin knew what he was talking about?

Now for the question we've all been waiting for: "Was it worse than Batwoman? "

We are well beyond "Why?" at this point I guess.

Even Tatiana Maslani insulted the fans before the finale even began telling to us that she didn't give a s*** about the character's origins, all she cared about was the payday for her to act out and spew whatever rhetoric the writers and the director were giving her in this show. And by the way the main reason why they're putting She-Hulk with Daredevil, it's because even the writers know Daredevil is a MUCH better lawyer than She-Hulk is, and now She-Hulk will latch on to a man to help carry her and make her credible. How ironic is that after being told over and over again that "MeN sUcK" in every way imaginable throughout this series!? I said this in another She-Hulk review, that let "She Hulk Attorney At Law" be a case study that not all people deserve a director's chair, or any position in power in Hollywood that doesn't respect the source material, let alone the consumer that watches.

Remember, in this superhero show the real enemies were the trolls we made along the way...

28:02 probably because his show DARED to actually have a plot, have consistency between episode after episode, have a purpose, have good acting, have stakes, have good writing, and still be the best marvel show to ever be created.

So why the finale and the 4th breaking sucks? 1. it implies that the ending was gonna be bad and that the show wasn't in the first place. 2. She took away the superhero part of her story and only left the wack court room scenes and the not fun comedy. 3. While talking to K.E.V.I.N she said she didn't want Bruce Back, K said that they needed Bruce to introduce something, and she told keep that for the movie, we can imagine the K was talking about Skaar. All that to bring back Bruce anyway so he could introduce Skaar. They can't even be consistent in one episode.

The She-Hulk ending has at least one silver lining to it. All of the criticisms that we've been giving these people for the last several years have gotten SO FAR under their skin, they're ruining their own shows to create soap boxes from which to try to lecture us about _our_ bad behavior. They are no longer capable of simply creating something low-quality and pretending that we don't exist. We will heckle them into bankruptcy, and they will never recover. Keep up the good work, everyone!

The writers are not dumb this is not your usual woke crap show. You should not analyze the show I finally understood this show. The real purpose of this show is not make a super hero legal comedy drama. This show is a 9 episode attack/rant against Disney Marvel critics on the internet. Disney marvel spent millions of dollars to make show just to attack the fans.

I recommend rewatching Jessica Jones Season 2, an all-girl stunt project that tried. No affirmation, no Yas Queen, heck no sympathetic characters. Would be a great compare and contrast review.

it was a pretty bold move to paint your fan base with such a broad (pun intended) brush. In it we saw them generalize, cherry pick, strawman, and gas light. My favorite part was the way they pretended there were men in the writers room and then had them talk about the plot lines they knew would be the most hated.

Disney/Marvel paid writers top dollar and spent additional millions to produce a series that did nothing but cost the company viewers and tarnish the brand. Bold move Cotton. Let's see how this plays out.
