TSCC was an amazing series. They should let it continue, there is no logic to cancel that. It is much better than the shows they air these days. We want it back!
@@samflynn97 your right in naive and horrible world we live in money money money is a factor 95% of times if not higher but this is not the only good series they cancel ore games we all have the right to an opinion but wheir do we draw the line in the sand i rewatch meny series 5-10 times and asking my self why this part of the terminator is not only good it show us a part we havent seen before in the movies before it was always skynet in some form vs the god the series offer more sides the war for surrvial and the road their is endles and ending like that wtf?
what sucked was it survived the writer strike too, and then they were just like DONE, but so much stupid shit gets driven into the ground with content fans are just tired of look at walking dead.
Ah, good, you too eh? I also feel this series (Even with it's budget & TV 'censorship' and special effects limitations) made a great 'sequel' to T2...Darned better than the subsequent movies, to be honest.
After Dark Fate has divided, maybe someone will consider a third season or an El Camino style Netflix movie to give fans a chance to watch this show one more time
I think that at 3:30 John Connor finally exposed true concern about Cameron since Season 1. Also do only I hear that due to the damage, Cameron's voice is a little bit synthesized? It's actually a cool detail.
Summer Glau and Garret Dillahunt played excellent terminators, leagues better than what we've seen in the last 4 movies. and Lena Headey is easily the second best Sarah Connor
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.................. 20 years on this earth and I had no fuckin clue they made a terminator tv show, guess I've been livin under a rock my whole life
They should have at least did a 2-hr final episode to close out the series when they found out that the show wasn't getting renewed. At least close up the cliffhanger at the end of Season 2.
according the the producers, there was no way to wrap everything up in a movie with everything that was left to tell. the most viable option would have been a mini series a-la "battlestar galactica the plan", but warner and the rights owner said nope.
This is still my favourite show ever. I have watched the finale once and can't face watching it again knowing there was no more to come. Such a waste of a brilliant show.
Never watched firefly, heard the ratings just weren't there for terminator, I personally believe all series unless absolutely crap should get a minimum of 3 seasons before being cancelled so the fanbase can have a chance to grow. Fox seems to always screw over food things, more recently lethal weapon.
I thought it was a great way to reset the causal loop; John disappears, goes to a future where nobody knows him (with knowledge about the threat he obtained in the past), rises through the ranks, and sends back Kyle Reese to save his mom and become his dad in Terminator 1.
as it is, it's the perfect ending for a story where 80% is left to the viewer's imagination. John's last couple of seconds is he going from _"Oh wow, Future Cameron! Lucky me!"_ to _"no wait a minute, that's a human... Cameron ?!? The one I knew wasn't the original??"_ followed by a long list of questions, and he's stuck in a future where he means nothing to anyone. Show don't tell 101. That's how I like to see it. This John is the western Shinji Ikari, and Cameron is Rei Ayanami.
@@Kalhenwrath1 I personally like to think that, John eventually got together with the real cameron and eventually led the resistance to victory. That's my head ending
I really like Swamp Thing but that got cancelled after 1 season and Punisher after 2 seasons it's so annoying that all these great shows get cancelled before they get the time to really take off.
@@tarn2992 I guess that's true however I still think it could of had another season like Jessica Jones, which I still haven't started season 3, because once I finish it that's it no more. I'm seriously hoping that Disney+ picks up some if these old series.
Nope the cast that we loved isn't coming back. Let's just say my head ending is connor eventually got together with the real cameron and led the resistance to victory.
TSCC was truly amazing. Cool, insightful, profound, funny, made you think.Lena Headey was superb, incredibly sexy, and had a real presence about her.Summer Glau was the perfect foil...ostensibly an ingenue, but in reality a blend of protectorate and homicidal intent. What a series.Loved it.
She can't be bargained with, she can't be reasoned with, she doesn't feel pity, remorse, or fear! She absolutely will not stop, EVER, until you're saved! I wish my ex was like that.
if this was a year or two old Netflix would've grabbed it. However the show was so long ago that Netflix and nobody else is interested. Maybe one day they'll do a different date with new actors almost nobody I think seen the Terminator CGI animated movie pretty sure I've got it on DVD around here somewhere it Movies movies that almost nobody knows about. They should have done more to peer generated Terminator film's . Can't remember if it was connected at all to the television series or not
Both John and Cameron need a vacation. That's what many people wanted to see. Their relationship becoming something more than friendship, letting them be happy with each other.
Quang Nguyễn Đăng Nhật There was a huge fan petition, etc. Last episode was amazing. Was so looking forward to a season 3. Unfortunately its never gonna happen. A lot of people never watched it so they have no idea how good it was.
@@JasonBoreu Oh I 100% agree, and Genisys wasn't near as good as The Sarah Conner Chronicles. It's just funny that those two GoT characters both gave birth to the last hope for humanity.
It was a good show, and way ahead of the crap they're putting in the movies these days. I wish they could have gotten a more consistent narrative. Summer's character is remarkably insightful and philosophical or she's dumb as a post and needs simple things explained to her. The enemies are either nearly invincible or easily vanquished depending on what the plot requires. Great acting and idea, it just seems like they couldn't agree on execution.
I think it just showed the limits to the programming, after all, human programmed AI is only as good as the humans and data entered. And machine programmed AI will never quite get it right.
Even though the terminators don't get seriously damaged by gunfire, their human outer flesh does get torn up as do their facial features. It would make sense for them to don protective face shields and body armor, just to make the process of healing to 'look human' go faster. Just a nerd thought.
Dude do yourself a massive favor and watch The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I was skeptical at first but I watched the whole series and loved it. The only good Terminator production after T2.
Such an epic scene. This scene is a nod to both the T-800s in T1 and T2 movies. Cameron stormed a facility and casually assaulted the police officers just like the T-800 did in T1, but she did not kill anyone (like the T-800 in T2).
Arnie was T-800 which was basically a walking tank with a lot of strength and durability. Cameron is a TOK-715 which is supposed to impersonate human as perfectly as it's possible, so basically less strength, less durability, but better understanding human psychology and a lot of programming improvements to blend into society. Besides, apart from shotgun, Arnie also had a rifle, so he had to dual wield his weapons. Cameron carries shotgun two handed because it's a pump action so she has to reload somehow, duh.
i always thought it was strange how GOOD Lena looks in this show, and how......unattractive she looks as Cersei. I almost couldn't believe it was the same actress.
Dark Fate was great, and left me feining for more. So I came back to this series because I forgot I saw it. Now if only I can find somewhere to stream this....
I'm not sure you could break handcuffs like that. Cameron's straight would put a lot of strain on Sarah's wrists. She would need to keep both sides balanced so the inertia is only on herself, cause flesh and blood would probably start tearing depending on the durability of the cuffs.
@@catserver8577 Yeah but in that scene, she grabbed Sarahs wrists and pulled them apart... which puts the strain on Sarah's anatomy. What she needed to do was break the chain only making it taught in the center so all the stress was only on her cybernetics.
Looks like she's putting the chain between her fingers and drives her flat hands apart. That would work if the chain is weak enough so the cuffs don't bend.
