That guy walked away, heard you talking about the pins and acted like he was still interested and came back, not even acknowledging you. I really dislike those type of resellers. This exact scenario is why I ask “how much for this” no matter what because the seller will either give me a price or say “it’s already sold”. By asking if someone purchased it, it leaves them an opening to weasel their way in like this guy did.
Around minute 2 they were selling a barrister bookcase 4 shelf unit in two pieces. I dont know if you do big items but if you do keep and eye out for these some by certain makers sell for a lot of money. Great video!
Good yard/garage sale etiquette John..😍 Very cool not to intrude on a deal..🎉 Love the vintage parlor guitar and video games haul also vintage toys..😮 Well done sir.. Take care..👍❤🔥🤙
I am a regular garage saler but not a reseller. I will negotiate on the price if it's high, and/or if I'm buying multiple items. I always end with "good luck with your sale." I've had big garage sales and I know how much work goes into them. Enjoy your videos!
The ceiling fan is really cool. As a nba kid fan in the 80’s and early 90’s it has that look. Plus I grew up partly in Seattle so to have the Sonic decals and have a Sonic NBA ceiling fan would be frigging cool! #BRINGBACKOURSONICS
Are yard sales like this everywhere but new England? I pulled up to one the other day all the parking was taken I had to park on another street and walk over. I was stunned to find no customers. Family and friend helping with the sale took all the parking. And the prices where tightboff of ebay
Hi John, what's your strategy on picking garage sale? Do you go to all of the garage sales in your area, or you pick the ones that looks promising and plan your route?
Mostly just what’s in my area unless there’s a great looking sale further away. I tend to hit neighborhood sales because I can go to a lot more sales in a shorter amount of time
My sons took very good care of their toys and now they are all packed in totes... They moved out and left me to babysit their treasures I guess lol... My oldest was fascinated with Ghostbusters from 1986 on.... Birthdays and Christmas that's all he asked for... I honestly believe he has every single toy that came out till he got bored of that ... Another son was into transformers and Nintendo.... Another batman stuff... and we have all the accessories bagged... and matchbox/hotwheels..... Had one son who just wanted tools.... LOL I say money in the bank... for them some day....
On the firehouse you only have halfof the containment chamber. The red bit sits on top of the part you are missing. But the flag, doors and pole are all good finds
This is what garage sales are supposed to be not putting eBay prices cause they want the max those people should honestly just sell them on eBay and let real garage sellers do their thing obviously not talking about those who are collectors who are having a yard sale at least they know their prices!
Hey, I’m reaching out to you because I know you deal with graded cards and I have an authentication question. I have an opportunity to purchase for $300 a Tiger Woods signed 2001 Masters flag. It’s been authenticated, but unfortunately it was with “Legends Sports & Entertainment Memorabilia” authentication service. If it’s real, it could be worth thousands. What would you suggest? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Have a great day!
how does someone price those toys so low? surely he had some idea they could be worth alot more online! great finds though John, was missing your uploads! x
The misspelled "commont" is the first commont, making this comment the first "comment" but your personal second comment, thus eliminating it as the first. Sorry.
