Some very interesting stuff there - reminds me of when I worked in the city from 1990-94 and commuted five days a week from Barnsley. Loved the 08 speeding along, when did the station pilot duty end I wonder. Parcels traffic long since gone (except for theWCML). Thanks for putting this on.

Very good indeed! Parcels traffic - now there's a memory if ever there was one! Had to chuckle at the driver of the 08 giving it everything in the sunshine, was almost as if the film had been speeded up. Wonder if you could still stop late and film there now..............

Only just discovered that I watched this clip some five years ago! It's now a multiple-unit mecca. Has Sheaf House been demolished, I take it??

Wish I was there when real trains roamed the rails.
