I'm really glad you enjoyed this one as well 🙂. This song is a tribute to their ancestors and if I'm not mistaken, their actual family members are featured in the video dressed in the traditional garb. Your passion for music is almost as strong as theirs 🤘😊🤘

It is about family and origins indeed. Actually, I just checked the vid again (I have listened to it 30 times or so) and they added the lyrics and the translation in the description box.

If you notice in NFL, you see these Huge Polynesians are so Aggressive on the field but off the field, are just as Quiet/Soft-spoken & Low-key. It stems from cultural upbringing. Troy Polamalu said it best...." I Don't love football. I like playing the game. I love life & football is part of life." Look at past NFL highlights of Polamalu, Junior Seau, Isaac Sopoaga, Kimo Van Oelhoffen, Pisa Tinoisamoa, Chris/Maake Kemoeatu & present-day players Marcus Mariota, Tua Tagovailoa, Jordan Mailata, etc., etc....

"...the most intimidating forms of savagery when it comes to the passionate defense of their home." This is beautifully said, as a hapa haole (mixed Hawaiian) I want to thank you for understanding and expressing that in such a thoughtful way. The term 'savage' is not often used to paint polynesians in a good light, but you sir have found the exception. Keep up the great videos!

I grew up with Yothu Yindi, which was a first nation Australian band that sung many political songs about the hardships they faced and was one of the first of its kind. So seeing all these bands that are representing their culture and their roots is amazing. Whether it be Southeast Desert Metal (Aussie first nation band that is the most remote in the world) or Shepherd's Reign or Alien Weaponry or so many others, it is so wonderful. I hope that we might see a metal band from the people of the tribes in America that is representative of who they are culturally as well at some point.

In English it’ll look the same (Aiga) but the pronunciation would look like this in English Ainga. In Samoan the g is pronounced as ng. 🤙🏼

Holy crap! You did Shepard's Reign. I've been trying to get them reacted to for awhile now. And they rock! I love the traditional vibe you get from bands like this from around the world. Thank you and please more international metal! If you're interested I know an excellent band from Togo in Africa called A'rkan with drums that have to be heard to be believed. I'll send you the link if you like.

@@OldSkuleNerd yeah I got that. But you're the 2nd reacter I've ever seen react to them . So I was very surprised to see the reaction. No I didn't catch the whole reaction in first listen, because I was on my break at work. So thank you even more for reacting to a band that's not Japanese, European, or Indonesian, not that there's anything wrong with any of that. They're unusual, The only other reaction I've ever seen is Mr ML Boyd and I think he only did them once. Yes, you do see the Hu as well, but my response to the Hu was to start looking for more international metal from unnoticed corners if the world. I've seen your reaction to Alien Weaponry so thanks for that as well. I've seen like million reactions from Nightwish and their kin, seen Alip Ba Ta and his collaborators, seen a lot of Japanese bands(generally only the most obvious stuff though). You actually bothered to go off the beaten path, so yeah I was surprised and appreciative. Please do check out A'rkan with your love of African drums it's a natural, and they're quite good! Or the Siberian/Norse group Nytt Land also great.

I'd like to recommend another kiwi group for you - check out Devilskin. They're a little bit Halestorm, a little bit Jinjer, and they're really good. Check out "Corrode", "Start A Revolution", or "Little Pills". :-)

The word tattoo comes from the Samoan word tatau, the tatau is the mid body tattoo the men get when they go through the rite of passage from boys to men, It goes from waist to knee. including part of the genitals, so yes it is painful

Translation. Come listen to me as i speak. Some people when the have grown they forget their parents. They start earning money and loving worldly things and forget their family. Family is where you find true happiness you can look for your happiness everywhere but you will never find it you will only find it within your family. Return to your family. Return to your family. Stop chasing your wealth, return to your family stop chasing worldly things and return to your family. The world of man can take you off your path it can blind you with its many beauty’s you can look as much as you want but you will never find what your looking for that you can find in your family. Just because you’ve grown you forget your family….return to your family..
