Moonchild you are right, what lay in the courtyard was the after affect of probably the most horrific muder in criminal history. Very few people would want to go there.
the guy with the hat they meet outside millers court is Thomas Bowyer , he was john McCharty ( the owner of McChartys rent as millers Court was known ) to collect by past due rent money from Mary Jane Kelly(the 5th and last victim of jack the ripper ). After Bowyer receives no response from knocking (and because the door was locked) he pushes aside the curtain and peers inside, seeing the body.
He informs McCarthy, who, after seeing the mutilated remains of Kelly for himself, ran to Commercial Street Police Station, where he spoke with Inspector Walter Beck, who returned to the Court with McCarthy.
I don't think Tumblety necessarily wanted to turn other men gay (in reality or in this game). Even if he did the idea of him carrying around a collection of wombs has not been proven and if he did it would have been twenty years earlier in America. If he did have them it was to explain his misogeny. He was an unpleasant character indeed. As for the Mary Kelly discovery, I thought it was brilliantly handled and very nicely animated.
@1Historygenius Not to mention that her face was slashed up to point of being totally obliterated. I think they had one of her lovers identify her by the earlobes or something, not like there was anything else left to go by.
Poor Shers. :( Murder doesn't normally effect him but everyone has a breaking point and when Watson isn't next to him to act as the scared child in a situation I feel that he begins to feel scared and alone and must fill that part in himself, rather he means to or not. That Dr. Tumblety was a sick man, I hope the coppers get a hold of him in the end and hang him. >.< It wasn't just his goal that was sick but carting around those body parts too is juts plane GROSS!!
He found Mary Jane Kelly's body, the last victim of Jack the Ripper. The body was practically emptied out of organs and they were placed on the table (as you can see in front of Holmes). Also, her face was literally hacked off. Sorry for the nasty details but now you can see why Holmes was so repulsed.
What exactly was the business of Sherlock Holmes asking Watson about where they were and acting as though he had short-term memory loss after Holmes discovered the body? Is it suppose to imply that he was so traumatized by the sight of the mutilated corpse that he had some sort of "black-out"? I mean, I probably would too if I stumbled upon a person in such a condition.
@1Historygenius Not 100% but its worth a shot at least-_-, there are always possibilities when it comes to understanding what could and could not in the area of investigations
I don't know...I am girl,if I would ever met a guy like this I would definitely stay out of his way,but still I don't have nothing against him.I like gays more than straight guys,so even though he is sick person,I find him interesting.
@genericusername337 Yes, but little kids and people who don't want to see won't get traumatized by accident by the game. Is what I meant. People who are interested can look it up on their own.
