Best SMTV beginner's guide I have watched out of 6 videos. And they have thousands of views while this one a couple hundred. Makes no sense. Nice job. You should get more exposure.
I'm surprised this doesn't have more views, this is probably the best video I've seen for new players, as a new player to the SMT series who just picked up Vengeance
Seconded. This is the only video that explains it like I'm a newcomer and doesn't just throw out random stuff like "Of course if you do this then your Omogataki build is not gonna be buffed" and I'm like bro WHAT I'm just wrapping my head around the evasion stat 😂
Because of you guys. I am still playing this game, and enjoying it a lot. Thank you for a very detailed explanation of the mechanics. Hitting the subscribe button.
What a gem, thanks for this great guide! Was trying to find guides on specific beginner questions on my mind unable to get them answered or find a proper video guide for them this one pretty much answered anything I had on my mind and even more! Just got stuck on the 1st boss and started utilizing the strategies in this guide definitely helped me through it! Preferred characters with given immunities, gave my protagonist the given immunity using essences, changed my protagonist to second in rotation after a weakness heavy hitter in the 1st spot to avoid wasting turns (same for a second support in 4th slot focusing mainly on healing and support moves), It's really effective to have the protagonist after a weakness hitter as I can use items to for example charge party MP, switch characters out, use support moves without losing turns
WOW! my 1st SMT game on Switch > im dizzy already after only 7 minutes of your great video. Thanks for your help I will need it. I’m LVL10 and enjoying.
This game is my first in the series and at the time of its release I had only played P5. (I wasted my childhood not playing turn based rpg’s) this video has been the best guide I’ve seen so far. I just jumped back in the game after months of not playing it.
This is great. Thank you. As someone who did not like Personas “slice of life” approach but loved the combat/collector side of the game discovering Mega Ten is great (yeah I know I’m late to the party!).
Ngl, I got my own copy of the same game without knowing how to play Persona, and I love the combat, it really makes me use my brain amd come up with strat that doesn't needs to equip a specific item that it gives a masive boost but it's hard to use said item, but not in SMT.
I’ve played every persona game [including 1,2, and the spinoffs (yes, the dancing ones too)] but I’ve always been hesitant to get into smt because everyone says it’s way harder and too complicated, but this video definitely helped me get through smt 5 and even certain parts of smt 3 nocturne, so thank you! Smt4 apocalypse is next, to keep me busy until p3r comes out
Thanks for this guide. It really helps me get back into the game. Played it for a while and then it became backlogged for a while. This video helped me learn lots of new things and also helped remember things you haven’t done in a while.
Well done. I've seen playthroughs of Personas and lets-plays of some SMTs (usually with gamers yelling about how hard they are). I've never had the opportunity to actually PLAY any of them. But being exclusively Switch right now, I may have to pick this up. Your guide makes me really want to bite into it.
Man, thank you so much for this video. I picked the game up (after playing P4 Golden on PC, my first Shin style game before SM5) and I am really enjoying it. But after putting it down for a month and coming back, this video both helped me shake the rust off and learn a lot more helpful tips. Appreciate it!
At got around 20 hours in when this game first came out and stopped playing and never finished. I liked the game but it was taking up too much time and I had other games I really wanted to play. I just finished Persona 5 the other day and decided to finally go back and beat this game. But I’m gonna bite the bullet and start from the beginning because I don’t remember and damn thing about where I was or what I was doing at that point in the game. I think I was at the school area with the giant floating head demon flying around killing people. Idk.
just started playing this game a week or so ago and im loving, game definately punishes the unpreparred like the major boss of the second zone but man its satisfying when you get a good party and beat them
I've beaten this game 3 times already... I've done it twice on Hard Mode. I know for a fact I have more hours in this game than you I can compare my time to you directly on switch since we're friends... And I watched all 48 minutes cuz I just love TurnStyle. Deal with it
Very good and understandable guide! Learned a lot, I am new to smt so the tips help a lot. Couldn't get into nocturne (ps2 version on normal), random battles are so hart and healing is so expensive that made grinding a chore!
I remember looking up online the benefits of playing on hard mode and everyone said there weren’t any rewards. Either the RNG is weird or maybe I’m crazy, but I personally noticed you get more items after winning and increased odds with certain miracles, along with other minor stuff that didn’t trigger as often on normal
@@xvmvk8061 do you know why you picked Dark Souls, because its alot like humor. You don't have to work on your sense of humor to make it in this world and you don't have to have semi original thoughts either. That's why you said it.
Turns out I rented this from my local library, forgot to return it, so now its mine. I remember smt3 on 3ds wrecked my shit. Never made it out of the first dungeon 🤣 This game has me intrigued but after 2 hrs i realized idk shit about this game. Thanks for the guide my dude 😎
Wow... Such a nice video. Thanks for that.... But I am not sure. My Char is currently lvl 7 and I spent all points in strength - and now I see that you prefer agility? I like to hit physical - but now I am not sure if I should switch in spending for magic or stuff like that... Seems to be tough in endgame without enough skills, or?
Just got started playing after countless recommendations and found a good deal. It definitely was a little much to take in being my first ever SMT game. I started in Hard difficulty and dam, it’s rough. I’m still on Hard but only in the beginning area still. (desert heading to the Tokyo Tower). This video was great and super helpful thanks a bunch 🙏🏽 I’m toughing it out on Hard for now but if I keep getting wrecked I’ll go down to Normal. Are their any benefits of playing Hard mode? I was worried Normal would be too easy?
Great guide, but I think nobody really breaks down the purpose of talismans. I've collected so many of them and still have no idea what they're for lmao
This is so far an amazing game Other than the fact that when you die you get sent to the main menu and that the save spots can be frustrating when you die, id say this is a pretty damn great game
We are a two person channel! I (Sam), made the Pokémon BDSP video. My channel partner, Tom, made this SMT guide! One of our goals for 2022 is to be in more videos together as to not confuse people, hahaha
PLayed for half an hour love the feeling, but feel i have been in the neither world too long now, i am yearning for cutscenes and story. Also fusion is so complicated I do not understand any of it.
I just got Vengeance and after watching this my brain feels broken and I'm not all that excited to play it. Seems pretty impossible. With a gigantic learning curve, that I'm not sure I want to devote the time to to be honest. Kind of wish I hadn't bought it now. I mean, dark souls is hard, but you don't have to learn vocabulary words to play it. I appreciate the video though.
proc doesnt mean activate, it means ''a chance to activate'', for example you don't proc your magatsuhi bar, you activate it while criticals and ailements can ''proc''. Definition: Proc is used as both a noun and a verb to describe whenever a random gaming item activates or a random gaming event occurs.
“It’s incredible” “it’s genius” blah blah… you new generation anime kids say that about everything that comes out. Just get to the fucking tips, please. 😂
