Jealous of the Corvette owners in your area that have access to your shop. It must be nice for them to have no stress at knowing their car is in such knowledgeable hands and caring.
Yeah Lyle and team did a awsome job on my c6 . They did a harmonic balancer . My car really needed it. Runs very strong. Keep your eye on that balancer. If you have a c5 or c6. Worth the wait...
Lyle, boy, did you hit the nail on the head with your remarks about foreign to English translations. Some of them are so hilarious that reading the ad becomes fun, like the one I saw several years ago: "...car is carbureted with two engines." Geeze, I sure missed out on that one!
He has been a real pleasure to have here. He just GETS STUFF DONE and does it with the due care and professionalism that we expect. Very happy to have him! Lyle
I own a 2000 C5 Corvette with 267K miles, and I have to say it is the most enjoyable car that I have owned. Has not caused me too many issues, and my next project with it is getting the torque tube rebuilt on it
I came across videos of the corvette challenge which took place back in 88 and 89. Have you done a video about that. If not that would be cool to learn more about.
C5 and C6 cars all have a problem over time with the balancer going bad (several videos on this channel regarding the problem). We replace the balancer, the front crank seal, pin the balancer to the crank and replace the balancer bolt. We also replace all belts, tensioners and idler pulleys at the same time. Lyle )
I have a question. I see many Corvette drivers talk about their cars and some describe them like “ I have a 07 base M6”. I have an 07 base but I’m curios what does the M6 mean… sorry for the dumb question.
@@cscorvetteify How long is your back up on work? I heard in a recent video that you’re pretty busy. What is the price on a torque tube overhaul and turnaround time. I’m in East Texas and would have to have it shipped.
