I can only select all or nothing. Is there a way to select certain clips, but not all? To fix and save ready parts (with multiple tracks), but have the possibility to move and combine them around?
Thank you for the video! You have been missed for a while now. Can't wait to download Shotcut again when Dell replaces my computer after wrecking mine from their stupid BIOS firmware update. Lulz. Good to see you back!
I want to remove the select all, I accidentally press ctrl-a and I shouldn't have done that. I can't believe that the only way to get rid of the select all is by doing something like dragging and then they get released. Disappointing video editor application
Thanks! It worked well the first time but every time I use it now, the clips go at the very end of the timeline instead of where I left them. Is there any way to fix that?
Is there a way to tell shotcut to NOT move the timeline whilst dragging an item? Moving a single item is quite a bit of random turkeyshoot? I have a clip that I'd like to place at the ending, so far it's taken me 10 minuttes to not accomplish that task.
Still trying - honestly .... this is not very good. Moving an item to the left moves the timeline so much, that I end up with the item far to the right of what I wanted to do. This is the default behaviour?
Hey! I have a question. Do you know how to move the actual video. as in, say you want a video to be at the top right of your screen. but when you import a video it takes up the entire screen. how do i move it? thanks, please respond as soon as you can
Hello Tux Designer, After I watched many helpful videos on your channel, only now I subscribed... sorry... anyway, I have a very important question for you... How to delete multiple spaces between clips, I dont want to use right click then remove. Is there a shortcut to remove all with one click or so, in addition, if I made lets say 50 cuts, how to remove the unwanted -between frames or cuts? Please help!
select your first clip. Then select your last clip in the row with shift + left mouse click. This will select all clips between your first and last clip
Do you know how to ripple edits across all video tracks ONLY, while leaving the audio track alone? I'm trying to time certain parts of video to musical notes in the audio, and I need the rest of the videos to stay in sequence when I make my adjustments, but when I trim or speed up a video clip, it trims the audio track as well. Thanks so much, man, you're a pro!
@@waveringeyes8277 Thanks for the idea, I'll keeping in mind! I can't even remember which project I was talking about or what I did to fix the problem, but that means it must've worked 😆
1:56 dude... seriously, why the hell can't you do this in shotcut? the other way of doing it is so stupid! k I think I'm done using shotcut... I guess you get what you pay for lol
