The first person I would turn to is God and call upon him for guidance and ask him what he wants him to do.The Power of Prayer works wonders.If his heart is for God I’m sure God will come and show this man what he wants him to do.

I think he should continue teaching and Loving them, and having question and answer, etc., And trust God to do the rest. Not only that, it may benefit them later in their lives. Like me, the seeds that were planted laid dormant until I was 33 when the Holy Spirit brought the love of Christ to rememberance and lead me to a Bible Church and I was saved! The word does not return void I believe that.

Brother continue serving.....those problems are there,we are encouraged that Timothy faced the same issue n he continued to serve and b faithful to his call. I am sure serving in ur position is no smooth curve ask other youth leaders

I'm in the same boat and now I'm switching up my approach on people. I'm studying people watching how they act how they speak. Their emotions and just learning about them. I'm a bible study teacher and i felt my message was not getting to know one. So yeah great advise to the young man is learn of people speak on life give them love grace mercy compassion and always have the relationship with that person. A teacher/pastor deals with many of peoples problems and needs to ask God for strenght. As always just plant the seed and let GOD grow them into a beautiful creation. GOD BLESS

I think he should be able to continue teaching. If the people like his teaching more than the other elders, he should stay. Even if they don’t listen. Someday down the line, they will remember what he said to them, and turn from their ways. I could be wrong but that’s just my thoughts.

This is the advice to this man. Stay teaching from the WORD and by the Spirit, pick out the least among the youth group you're teaching, and raise him to a higher position in some way. However that's pretty possible for you to do, like giving him open and known responsibilities seen by the group, continue in the WORD and watch God be the leader of your youth.

Might be their only outlet of learning about God and his love for them

If so it will surely die.If planted on doily ground , If it Is watered it will grow.If it. Is fed it will grow strong. It will flourish and soon bloom.In time it will bare fruit. Still needing food to grow strong.Our bodies need feeding. So Does The Spirit on The Word Of God To Grow. At times we all need to be encouraged to help that Growth.Praise To Our Almighty God Who never gives up on us.May God Be With You All And Lift you up to be more than you can be in Him. Amen

Teaching them to become teachers. Give them lessons to study, test them, the highest scoring gets to in turn teach the group for a week and rotate each week, having a separate study at home for homework and testing on this each week, choosing the teacher for the following week. You will find this will be the least, or most meek and humble of them all that become the teachers. Grade their teachings on how well the others learn. While you monitor what they teach, ensuring all is scripture cited and backed.

Waiting in the Lord is everything

When God speaks to your heart that's when you need to step up. Maybe go to youth seminars to get some more encouragement and see what your options are. Theese kids need him. Kids will grow more spiritually along with the pastor as long as the leadership is solid. Mentorship maybe for accountability etc

If this young feller becomes boastful or full of pride, then find the least again and continue this until everyone in the group has rotated into position of self examination without telling them what you're doing. Praying for the Holy Spirit's guidance ALWAYS.

Teaching to study is easy and doesn't show its fruit but lights the lamp. To turn up the wick, they must also be taught to show themselves approved. These youth will eventually, begin to evangelize without thought or burden. If you teach them with practice and guidance to be teachers themselves.

I'd tell him he is where he is at for a reason. The Holy Spirit is the only teacher anyone needs. God is raising up a people for an appointed time, and he is there with the understanding he has, for a reason. Just stick to the scriptures and live by them, and teach by them, with prayer and supplication, and you can't be wrong.

That's if there is nothing more involved in the equation than the guy mentioned.

It's not his job to save anyone, but the duty of the Holy Spirit to draw them, but it is his job to be a light in a dark place. Sounds like the church is stagnant and he may be the only one to teach the Way of Jesus that's applicable to these young people's lives.

Was Peter qualified ? Was he not a fisherman? He was not as studied as Paul but still preach the Gospel.

Take them on a field trip to see the Oil Bible and get them interested in God again. But seriously, ask the Holy Spirit and see what God says. Is he bringing forth fruit, eventually, lol, from his Works? Lids get bored. They need to be blown away and amazed by God. Make the Word fascinating to them again. Stir up a fire and a passion for God in them. It may get contagious and spread to friends and classmates. You might even get the whole town in on it. I don't know man, I think you've got a real opportunity to win souls for God here. Amen? Lol

I'd rather have hard truth than soft half truths.

The Holy Spirit needs to break the fallow ground at first or there can be no fruit.
