I love the beginning of the MIdrash Minis' music and graphics....perfect.

I grew up just like that and I’ve seen things that were called ‘spirit’ that the I believe the Holy Spirit had nothing to do with. Good lesson.

Wow I am not sure what scriptures I need to support what I understand. But I would sing/pray in tongues and I would worship with His holy names in between. When I am in a creepy house then I pray in the spirit because I don't know how to pray. I have seen spirits evacuate. I would get words of knowledge and words of wisdom to help me understand. I believe it works in my opinion. Thank you!!

I speak three languages and there are times when I pray privately that I prefer to pray in Spanish rather than English. It says, more distinctly what I want to say, than English does. But I am English speaking with no Spanish background at all in my family. However I would never just pray in Spanish in a public setting, unless I was the only non Spanish person there. Otherwise I keep it to myself.

I believe that as we grow in faithfulness and obedience those manifestations will reappear. I hv witnessed a lot of fraudulent mis representations so I may be overly sensitive/cautious to these things...

I think every believer should be baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Praying in tongues is very much needed today. Yes, Paul did say that he would that we prophesy and I agree with that. But Paul must’ve thought that speaking in tongues was so important in that he prayed in tongues “more than ye all.” I understand that when we do the Holy Spirit is helping us to pray. I am disappointed hearing this teaching because it seems like Bill is saying that it’s not that important to pray in tongues. I could be wrong but that’s what I got from this. I enjoy the services and the young people involved in dancing. Decently and in order sounds to me like man still wants to be in control. I guess that every church is different in what is emphasized as important. I am glad that we know that the most important thing is to Love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind. And to Love our neighbor as ourselves. I can see that Love is practiced with those in Jacob’s Tent.

Very clear teaching. Yes, tongues are real, necessary, and Holy Spirit led. As to the confusion surrounding them, remind yourself this. The devil only counterfeits what is real. Why would he attack a lie he himself authored?

Paul would speak with tongues more than them all, because he was apostle to the gentiles and would need to speak in their languages.

1 Corinthians 14:2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men, but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries in the Spirit. (I don't think you can just erase this scripture, but it appears many do.

IF speaking in unknown Tongues is so important you would think Father would give it to everyone and yet most learn from other humans, I've heard people give interpretations and you would think if the Holy spirit was speaking through people the message would be turn back to the Torah, Keep the Commandments etc. but they never are. I was made to feel like a third class disciple because I didn't speak in tongues.

God is not the author of confusion

The speaking of tongues at Shavuot was speaking in other known languages to Jews who had been born and raised in other parts of the Middle East and the Mediteranean. It was NOT babbling like an idiot! I have witnessed this first hand. Anyone who believes or practices it has nothing to do with the Olam Haba. This is just another pagan practice of other religions which is the totality of Christianity.
