The planed rate of fire nerf will be the last nail in this once good premium's coffin for me; joining the ever growing "premiums i don't use anymore" collection, next to the KV-1C, and the T31, T-126 and so on... (that list is bigger now than the Israeli tech tree). And NO i never used it with the 4.7 lineup. I brought it years ago to have a 4.7 gun on 4.0 with the 3.3/3.7 tanks. Seriously, the Pz. 4H/G is at a much lower B.R. and I'd pick that 9/10 times over this!
When BR changes updates is out the Type 5 gun of Chi-To, Chi-To late and Chi-Nu II will be changed from 7.7 to 6.4 second when aced. Although this is a nerf for the Chi-Nu 2 because it recently was buffed to 5.9 second from 7.7 second reload to compensate for its increased BR but i don't think it is that big of a deal since 6.4 sec although is slower than 5.9 but it is still much faster than its original reload of 7.7 sec, and it is good that they standardized this RoF for other tanks equipped with the same gun.
I like it because i found a Legend of Zelda user skin on wt live. And ya the gun fucking slaps i still think the Chi tos should go down to 4.3 the panzer 4s are arguably better at a much lower br while having better overall armor and mobility. I don't think the gun is so much better than the competition to ward a 4.7 br.
Nah they got the chi nu 1 at 3.3, that thing is so over tiered. I'd say it's barely a 2.7. From what I've read into Japanese guns, the Chi Nus cannon in game is using an earlier round, that round couldn't penetrate a sherman even at close range but the Japanese developed a new round called the kou just like the kou the Chi nu 2 gets it could pen about 120 ish mm of rha at 100 meters. I don't know why they didn't add this shell in
Btw it seems like you are reviewing the tank with stock crew or something, correct ? My Chi-Nu 2 with aced crews has 17 degree per sec targetting speed and 4.0 degree per sec verticle targetting speed.
Tank is a glass cannon so it performs well in uptiers since anything can kill it even at its own tier. I remember getting a 26 kill game in one life on this thing, never repeated it again.
recently bought it to start off the japanese grind and i love it, great gun can penetrate basically anything at its br, you can also snipe alot easier with its guns having little drop and if you have premium with it you get so much sl and rp. the only downside is that it is easily killable
The fact the muzzle velocity is better than the short German 88, pak 40, easy 8 and 85 definitely helps its case. Also I've done some testing and even though it's uncapped it doesn't better against angled armour than the kwkL 48
I mean it is Just a Chi-To gun at 4.3 that's it same shitty Armour as about every other japanese tank decent mobility ig at least for the tier also yeah i would still buy it over some pay2win bullshit. And don't act like there are no Pay2Win Vehicles don't lie to yourself.
Great vehicle even though it was put at 4.3. To be frank I ran it at 4.7 anyways with the chi tos even though japan 4.7 isn't the greatest it gets the job done and is probably the best of the Japanese line ups 8.7 is a mess, their top tier has no support vehicles at even 10.0 and the best low tier line up the had with the Chi Hes and Chi ha Kai got butchered with all the miner nations best low tier medium with 50 mms of Armour getting uptiered to 2.7 for no reason. 5.7 though with that new TD with heat and the beautiful American 90mm aphe is pretty good, I've got the Japanese tiger 1 so I've got three vehicles there and the Che Ri 2 is a usable late spawn, the m24 is good too, most American teams use m 18s which you can skull fuck because of your stablizer.
