Hello friends, and welcome to episode 6 of The State Of It Podcast, with your host, Lewis Brackpool.
I’m delighted to welcome onto this episode, Nick Dixon.
Nick was a stand-up comedian, now a presenter on GB News for a program called Headliners, he is also the host of The Weekly Sceptic and The Current Thing podcast.
In this episode Nick and I delve into stand-up comedy in a time where the entertainment industry is obsessed with identity politics and why he left the comedy scene partly because of this.
We also talked about the current state of our political system, Reform UK, Labour, the two-party system, Zero seats to the tory party and I asked whether Nick is concerned about Ofcom, the online safety bill and how it could be used to take GB News down.
I hope you enjoy the episode as much as I did. This episode is available to watch on RU-vid and Rumble and to listen to on Spotify.
