Hey Mark... Since everyone already knows you as 'Mokpot' how about just adding what you do... " Mokpot Scuba Adventures"... It's who you are & what you do (for us too)👍
Good Morning Mark ! No need to change the name . I think it is just perfect . The ceramic offerings are ok to pick up . Once it has been bought , the prayers have been said , and cast to the water , it's purpose has been done . For you to pick them up and keep is perfectly fine . No harm done . This is fact . The body glove sunglasses made me chuckle . That was the brand of wetsuit I bought for surfing many moons ago . Lol ! Thanks for another great video !
Watching that knot of fish swimming around was amazing, the water is so clear and yes, we have a golf ball. As for a name change how about UNDER WATER YARD SALE...........LOL.
Mokpot is so recognizable. Mokpot Mark? Mokpot Dives. Loved your garden, and the fish! I don't know why, but when you dive around man-made structures, I get really nervous for you. All those ropes, chains, and stuff to snagged up on I guess. Takes me back to my old "Sea Hunt" days when I was a kid. Keep up the nice dives!
What is a story without the tension to add drama. Film making 101, raise the anxiety levels (I have no idea what I am saying) Honestly, swimming around manmade structures is a time to be extra cautious for many reasons, including all those you mentioned. It is alway good to hear from you.
I use 2 dive the American river 15 2 twenty years ago. I also fish that area regularly. I paid 4 some poor people 2 go 2 the river tomorrow. Same area. I think thay will have fun. Thanks 4 the dive...
The hair clip joke was great! 😂 and the name change...... The Sierra Scuba Diver, 👍aka SSD! NO UH?🤣 Keep up the great work and videos, and I still like MOKPOT
Beautiful dive Mark. I really enjoyed looking at you garden and it's little inhabitants, this dive was so relaxing for me.Thanks for uploading your videos. Stay safe😘😘💋💋
Hi, cool video today. I really like your name now but I can’t think of anything else to name it. The school of fish was really neat. It amazes me how they just swim together like that.
Like your garden and the fish ball.. lol.. Looks like you found a few more treasures to add to your collection. I hope you keep the name mokpot. It's short, different and easy to remember. Enjoyed the video, thanks for posting it.
Thank you Doris. Funny you should say it is easy to remember because, it is so hard to tell people who ask the name MOKPOT , and they always need to write it down. I appreciate the input! ty
Under the docks, how often do you surface & lay your finds on the dock!---Bait ball, just like at the Monterey Aquarium! Fun to see it in the wild! (I wonder what THEY eat!)---Those dice couldn't have been very lucky if they all went in the drink! Or did you mean, YOU were lucky!---I treasure my mokpot golf ball! It's in my kitchen!---The movie Bedknobs & Broomsticks, and the Beatles both had great songs about gardens (but under the sea). Still, I couldn't help think of those as you panned YOUR SPECIAL GARDEN!---I liked that backwards view of you on the return trip!---Those dude's expressions when doing maintenance on their boats & suddenly realizing their missing socket, "it was just here a second ago", went over the side or through the decking!
Alana, how nice to hear from you. Putting things on the dock depends on several things. If it is a public dock frequented by many visitors all day, No. If it is a private dock, yes. sometimes the docks are too high, sometimes too busy (boats). If it is fall or winter and the homes or businesses are closed for the season, no. If I really like the item , No.😁🤣
Accidentally hit send on that... Continuing: I am so pleased you are happy with the token Dive Icon. : ) If you like fish bait balls... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vKlE7RubK0M.html
Always fun to tag along. Interesting watching the fish go into protection mode (circling) behavior. Looked like juvenile largemouth. Sad trout was looking for a friend.
Great video. It looked like a pretty clean lake , wasn't alot of tires and large garbage dumps. They must have did a clean up when the water level was low. 👍
I am also partial to Mokpot. You could always just add a descriptor after it. Mokpot Dives...or something like that. As to the offerings that you find....it would be interesting to find someone who could explain the ritual behind the placement. But, I think I would leave them there so they can serve their purpose whatever it might be. Thank you for another enjoyable video!
I am glad you are still tuning in Sylvia. The Pandemic really put the squeeze on making videos dependent on outdoor recreation. Everyone was staying at home. Except me!
Fun adventure. :-) Thank you. Did you take a few seconds to roll the dies a few times. Underwater, they seemed to like the 4 and 6s. Or maybe just luck. ;-) ;-)
@mokpot it can happen a lot shallower than that. Not sure what it is. It just reminds me of one. You could google fish venting tool and see how they compare. Interesting either way. Keep up the great vids!
The only thing I would change about your Channel name is call it Mokpot Dive Videos, Your channel seems to be growing pretty steady so I'd be careful how much you change :). Thanks for sharing.
Just as an FYI, I had found your channel on a device and subscribed. But when I searched your name "mokpot" on a different account at home, I could not find your channel and I don't know why. Maybe adding something about scuba or metal detecting to the name may get more hits in the searches. Love the metal detecting videos!
I think leaving the offering in a safe place shows respect.. The fish were crazy. That would make a cool screen saver. All those underwater structures are kind of creepy. Can you tell what they are without giving away the location? Your underwater garden was very cool.
OH OK I feel better. I was imagining all kinds of things from an old water buried town to who knows what. Was it Folsom Lake cover an old town when they filled it?
Well kind of... I would love it if the just filled in valleys over the existing town, it would make for amazing dive sites but, out this way the level everything, other than bridges for some reason🤔
Mark I just had a brain storm on a future Dive in Tahoe. A dear friend of ours years ago had a VHS tape on and old paddle wheel ship that sank in Tahoe . I know it suppose to be in very good condition and complete I am sure it sank over 100 years ago I think they used it for tours at the lake . If its not too deep and you can locate it be one hell of a dive for your channel I would def watch. You would get a lot of views. Maybe do a research in your spare time and try and locate it . Be a bad ass video !
HI MMM, I know the vessel. it is over 400 feet deep, a dangerous depth. It would be a Badass video. A good friend of mine actually died diving that boat a few years back. These days I limit dives to 130 or so, 200 on special occasions.
I have been as deep as 85 feet there, but by 60 feet it is dark as night, visibility with lights is about 2 feet, it is creepy as hell, and in the mid to low 40'sF. I have no doubt there are many awesome treasure to be found there, but...
Remember a name. If I was still diving I would.I just turn 73. But what you do makes me think of all the fun I had. Always watching for your videos.@@mokpot
I like it! lol. But it may give the impression I dive unprepared. Just a curious thought: the 2590 after your name... does that mean there are 2,589 other SlimeyPendleton's out there?
May I suggest that the Channel Name could be Just “Mokpot Diving” because if you are changing it totally, then people who doesn’t know that you changed it, will have a hard time finding your channel again! 😊
Maybe adding "scuba" or "diving" to the name might attract more viewers. But please keep Mokpot in there too! The Hindu offerings do no harm and they look cute. I'd leave them.
Hello Nongkhan, thank you for watching the video. The white balls are golfballs, some people like to hit them into the water with a golf club 🤔 I think because it is fun?
