Signs Someone is Emotionally Unavailable / What are the signs that someone is emotionally unavailable? First, vulnerability is like kryptonite to them. Anytime you bring up a vulnerable topic - whether it’s related to the two of you or not, they run in the opposite direction. Another sign is they offer no emotional support. When you're down and in need of support, they’re often gone. And finally, they often can't handle conflict. They respond to everything from a place of anger.

Yes I experienced this.. I just don't understand why it's so difficult for people to be emotionally normal.. I feel lucky I can express myself in a healthy way

Okay I have to admit, I can be this way to an extent. But I want to learn to be emotionally supportive. Growing up, having emotions was not okay. We weren’t allowed to show too much happiness, sadness, crying etc. So now I find myself as an adult not wanting to deal with emotion but can be emotional. I really need help.

When I was young I mistakenly, unknowingly got involved with a guy who was very emotionally unavailable and showed signs, to me at least, of narcissism. I ended up wasting years of my life on him hoping I could mold him into a different kind of man. It wasn't going to happen.

I experience the same😩 my ex was emotionally immature. You just have to accept the fact and try to focus on yourself and your healing. Time will help to get over them 🙏✨

And what if he hears you out, cleans your tears and makes you smile, gets you gifts, takes you to nice places, compliments the shit out of you, tell you your worth and tells you he would always always care for you deeply and would always be there for you but can’t give you the love your looking for……. He does all these things for you to show you that there are still good men out there and doesn’t want to date you cause according to him he doesn’t believe in love 😭😭😭😭😭 make that make sense, the one person to show you what true love feels like doesn’t believe in it 😫😫😫 how????!!!!

It’s a manipulation, love :,( I’m sorry, I’ve experienced this too… for him, it was an ego boost and made him feel like a ‘good guy’ to do all these nice things for you without sincere intentions ……….. he had no intention of staying, just wanted to feel like a good guy and enjoy you a for a bit .. ego boost
