Continuing the Motor series - with a DIY Encoder test. We’re using a hobby DC motor to spin the DIY Encoder to 3000 RPM. Optical Encoders require precise Electrical and Mechanical interpretation to be accurate. Can our 3D printed Encoder and simple photo-gate keep up at 3000RPM?
