SIMPSON OUTLAW BANDIT 

Currently shopping for a modular helmet for summer road trips. I've had great luck with my Simpson Ghost Bandit and I prefer it over my Shoei. Don't get me wrong, the Shoei is a great helmet if you hate your ears. I'm considering the Simpson Mod but in that price range for the modulars there's a lot of competition. I'm planning a trip to Columbus to Iron Pony for the sole reason of trying on modulars. I'll admit though as well as the Simpson helmet being extremely comfortable, it does look good hanging on the hook in the mudroom waiting to do battle on America's rural byways!

Great looking helmets. Interesting on the air movement, I’ve always thought the same thing, not enough vents. It’ll be interesting to see how the helmet vents on other bikes, long term. I love the Mod Bandit. My only issue is the the inner visor is so close to my RX glasses, I usually hit them putting the shield down and have to tip the helmet back to clear the glasses.

I have 10-12 helmets, lost count lol, but I picked up a Mod Bandit over the holidays, always wanted a Simpson helmet, now I do👍

I run the speed bandit and its pretty perfect for the price. Kinda barebones, but thats what I like about it.

Always loved this helmet... Unfortunately so does Everyone else. So I went with The Stig helmet 👍

Honestly, it’s the most GigaChad helmet.

This review made me pull the trigger on one. It's mean, it's intimidating, and it's a world of difference after running open face and 3/4 styled.

I got the simpson ghost bandit stingrae and love it, id pay the difference and go for that over the cheap outlaw version. I didnt have any issues with the fitment though >

As nerdy as they look. I like the flip down tinted 2nd lense models. (Internal sun shield I think they labled it) Cause then I don't have issues at night. Or have to carry a night visor. Just flip the shades up.. Still have clear visor for protection from elements. Honestly ide run amber visor for low light. But I can't really find them anymore

I just got an Outlaw Bandit and the face protection is very close to my nose/face. Is that normal? Maybe it is just how these are made?

Is it loud? I’ve always heard the wind noise is terrible compared to a Shoei or even the Ghost Bandit

Has anyone put a Cardo system in the outlaw? I just ordered one and definitely want to slap an audio system in it.

looks cheap. glad i didnt buy it. trying to look cool....will always be dumb
