You calculate their salary and see how much CPF a couple will accumulate over 5 years, and see do they need to work till 75 years to pay up their HDB. You better look around and see you have relatives or friends working in foreign companies or not before you say stopping foreigners come here to take away jobs. If you are the PM, will you close all the foreign biopharma manufacturing plants in Tuas South, close all the foreign oil and gas plants on Jurong & Bukom islands, foreign tech compsnies in the science parks and zlso those in Bueno Vista, Serangoon North, Woodlands, Tampines, Chai Chee and Pasir Ris, foreign banking & financial companies in Changi Business Park, foreign aerospace companies in Seletar, Loyang & Changi North, foreign logistic companies all over Singapore? His spouse only earned less than $1K (after CPF deducted, left few hundreds $ and now his wife also lost job), which unable to support a family. While he n his wife were searching for another job, they need some money$ to standby for their family. They'd soughting CDC/SDF for help but they said that if required to apply must go through many tough criterias to meet for application..! They said to my friends that since they'd this low income, should be able to survive, unable to help them with cash $. They said that they will only assist help for those must have 0 amount in the bank for individual + CPF slip must shown "0" amount. Just announced for those peoples who need help must have income not more than $500 in 1 household. So my friends' income was more than $500 but less than $1K/2K, he had no choice to seek another help from MP, as due to their CPF& Bank got some $ inside, they can't received help from MP. By then they went to the Community (RC) sought for assistant, they only provided them with some foods +$100 cash to help. As d result, help from them was too little, only $100 per months (Applied to only for 3 to 6 months). After deduct their transport, no cash left. My friends have to suffering hungers for each day only 2 meals/person (reduced of foods$ as food price rose) instead of 3 meals (1 meal 2 persons shared- better than live in 3rd world country peoples😂). Furthermore, during this pandemic periods, it's also very tough to find jobs, they didn't have sufficient $ to pay for their housing in cash. So they'd tried several times applied thru' CPF to pay their housing thru' "SA (meant saving)" installment account cos' both CPF didn't have $ in "OA" Account but it'd been rejected several times by HDB due to "SA" was meant for retirement. As the result, their housing loaned were rolled in very huge oustanding amounts...Now they're already very tough n difficult life to live during this critical periods. If no money$, Can they able to live long life without foods (will die on Starvation, how to wait till to retirement...?) & paying bills till retirement times...? Why can't tentatively let civilians to use their CPF "SA" to deduct their housing first during such critical pandemic periods till when the situation turned good n peoples got the jobs could earned n put back such $ back to "SA" acount instead wait till retirement period...? Moreover, budget support payout was very slow to process till end of this year2022/begining of next year2023 which lower income / jobless peoples unable to wait for so long for such assistance! Thus, I'd came across and very petty of them, which I can't help them much in cash but to assist those lower income to brought out their voice n views in this portal (thou' my English was not so good) to hope that our gov. could release out more restrictions to help more hopeless, jobless n low income peoples for more assistances....!
