totally agree. i've always loved singing, but my pitch was 0% accurate. since finding this channel I have learned to carry a tune - pitch maybe 70% accurate now. it's a miracle haha
Got it. Visualizing it as an orchestra is a good strategy. The singer is the conductor of the orchestra and the parts that compose the corporeal instrument are the members of the orchestra. If the it's all well conducted, there will be a ring (like the triangle in the orchestra) to polish it all off.
This is what I love about you Coach Victoria, you never leave us hanging. You always give a complete lesson in every topic. You remind me of our Doctor in Philosophy who always remind us that whether how good you are, if you're students don't understand, it's no use. Thank you for your compassion and dedication coach 🙏. May God bless you ❤️
Thank you miss, I did sing classes when I was younger and my teacher didnt explained to me in this technical level. I thought my voice was a problem, he only teached me vocalizing witch made me force my throught. Now im starting to understand and feel things like the nose ressonance. Im really good at low but i suck at high resonance. Thanks from Argentina!
Wow! I have struggled with nasal resonance for a very long time. I’ve been placing the sound into my nose for brighter tones. But your advice to focus on the area BEHIND THE NOSE just changed everything!! I feel such freedom and range! Thank you!
Youre a GENIUS! Thank you for your willingness to train us! You are a GIFT FROM GOD, truly!!! You get to the point! You dont waste months and months to give us the tips we need TODAY!!!
You teach like those typical intelligent Filipino teachers full of wisdom. I have seen lots of them growing up. And no one disagrees you are the best here in your field. Mabuhay ka kabayan!
I really wish you lived near me cuz I would totally have you my vocal coach you rock 😁 You're the best on RU-vid and I'm not lying you are seriously the best on RU-vid. I have a notebook and I take all notes from you you explain everything better than anybody else.
I just tried all 5 moods on the chorus of my song, with both open and closed vowels to find the sound I want - still struggling a bit, since I haven't seen your video on vowels yet, so that's on me - but so excited and happy to be making progress every day!
Thank you again Victoria, you've really contributed to my vocal development. your explanations are so clear and open the door to thinking differently about the voice, sound and resonance. Brava! I'm so glad that I found your videos.
I have enjoyed watching your videos so far and I always learn something new thank you for being a teacher and a helper, I will continue my singing journey with you.👍✌️
Thank you demonstrating the different colors and placement of tone and resonance to express different styles and moods in singing. This is a great reference guide for me to challenge and test my vocal abilities and search for your other videos to find more of the answers. When you teach about singing with a taller soft palate when singing operatic, are you referring to raising your soft palate?
😁😁👍👍👍🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼thank you so much Master..my singing voice getting bettter than ever only in couple of weeks..i been try many years but cannot achieve what i want..you are the BEST😍😍
More excellent tuition - and for free! Singing makes me happy and you've taught me how to sing. Thank you, I'm so grateful. Can you consider doing a video analysing singers? George Michael had the greatest voice of all imo - impeccable resonance. Could you talk about his singing if you get a chance? Concert of Hope (1993) is a great example. His singing during One More Try is a particular favourite. Or his cover of Stevie Wonder's They Wont Go When I Go on Listen Without Prejudice vol. 1 album. Thanks again Victoria!!!!!
I have followed your vocaltips and worked with you for a half year now and had for the first time post corona an audience to day! My singing felt great for the first time!! No pushing, roaring bending or trying hard to sing Just resonance, smile and relaxation. A whole new way of singing after a lifetime of bad singing... I am so thankful for your tips and will go on working with you!! All the best! Staffan
@@Victoria-Victorious Thank you very much for your replay Victoria! I'm happy that you like my country! I am retired and beeing able to sing is a dream since I was a little girl, now I have free time so, not only I attend a local school of music, but I try also to practice every day following some good tips on line. I am very, very happy that I have found your wonderful channel! Congratulalations, it's really great! 👋🥰🎶❤️
You're the best voice teacher. Can you help me to stop talking and singing from my throat and stop engaging my swallowing muscles?? It mainly happens when I talk. My voice gets strained and tension builds VERY quick and my voice gets tired so fast. I wanna keep my beautiful voice and don't want to lose it. Can you PLEASE help? :)
Watch my videos on the tight throat and do the exercises. Apply it to your speaking as well. You can start with this one. I hope it helps! Throat Tension While Singing? BEST EXERCISE HERE! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Fy3nucC1GKU.html
No, it does not have an opening for sound waves to escape. Bones may vibrate in the chest and give the speaker/singer a sensation, but this is not adding to the overall sound.
Hi, beautiful awesome Victoria and singers!! I would like to ask if someone knows which songs are sung usually in the restaurants, or maybe, I can find this list of songs somewhere in the internet? I've searched for it so long, but could not find(((
You are a hoot! I have sent one of your videos to a friend of mine and I would like to post links to your lessons on my FB page. Can I get your permission?
Mam maybe it is a stupid question but plz answer In how many day I will have resonance in my voice if I will practice resonance exercises daily And how many days i should practice a exercise to get its benefits
5-10 min a day at least to build in and become habit. As far as how long it will take, everyone’s voice is different and people progress at different speeds. Just keep up the good practice and apply to your songs.
I generally recommend alto/mezzo-soprano for beginning female singers and bass/baritone for males UNLESS you consider your voice as high. This should work fine, but if not, you have 30 days to exchange for the higher voice type. All of the programs cover 2 1/2 octaves in range.
This is a random question, but I wanna find my voice type, and the informations I read says, I need to find my lowest note and my highest note to determine what voice type I am. I did my lowest note using my chest voice, but when I'm about to do my highest note, I get confused. Am I supposed to use my chest voice or my head voice in doing my highest note? I also wanna know, when reaching my highest notes, do I went straight for the highest note itself and sing the highest note I can sing hesitantly, or do I need something that will elevate it? By elevate, I mean starting from the bottom then reaching to my highest note, because that's what I found more comfortable for reaching my highest note. Any thoughts on this?
Your absolute range will include your falsetto but your *singing range* may not, depending on what kind of music you sing. Watch my videos on better high notes and mixed voice.
Heeey, you shouldn't be telling falsehoods in the beginning of every video. If you've been teaching 40 years then that means you started teaching when you were around 10 years old. That's not completely impossible but deffenirley unlikely.
