We believe that many of our rights and civil liberties as American citizens on American soil are at great risk and that a simple act of civil disobedience has the power to effect great change. We are not attorneys or scholars, however we have been involved in professional photography for over 30 years and have had our rights and freedoms challenged more times than we can remember. No one group or person has the ability to effect change across the board, however we are committed to doing our part by continuing to stand up for our constitutional right to free press and the right to take photographs and video in public. No harm from me, just pointing out the facts, something this officer failed to investigate. I would hate to be on the receiving end of accusations that just aren’t true and cops have a duty to investigate first, then draw their opinions from the FACTS. ✌️

@Gracie G I don’t know for sure, but I suspect often the police are lying about what the complainant said. I suspect if you got to hear the call and the conversation between the manager and the officer, it would be quite different than what the officer is telling the auditor. It’s a technique for bad officers To escalate things.

I've seen it in a few vids, more I think since the Floyd thing. I've seen multiple times where an auditor shouts I fear for my safety...watch how they tend to back off. I seen one vid where 2 officers were cuffing a guy on his belly. One officer had his knee on the shoulder blades kinda thing. The other officer actually pulled his knee off. I couldn't believe it, but THAT'S the kind of change that happens with accountability

Another vid I seen a traffic stop and license refusal. 10 officers surround the car with batons yelling and screaming. The driver calls the FBI says he fears for his life, there's a bunch of guys gonna attack him with weapons. They say there's nothing they can do...call 911. So he does says same thing gives location. They suddenly get radio calls...the LT comes to door yells at everyone to go back to car...one stays the LT almost grabs him by collar yanking him back yelling at him...then is extremely calm polite and apologetic and explains everything. The guy has multiple suits against the dept and the State and has gotten multiple judges refused off the case for biases, not sure what's happened haven't checked on it in a while

As a Canadian, the complainers from our country have no concept of our history. While the US call for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, in Canada we call for law, order, and good government. That works for us. We have a great life, less crime than down south, better education, better social systems, fewer deaths per capita from covid, better protection in our old age and don't forget our health care. In Canada everyone gets free health care and it's of a very high quality. I've been privileged to have travelled all over the world and it's always with a thankful heart that I can come home to Canada.

Always appreciate your approach (and WTW). It's professional, educational, and helps to expose the tyrants and oath breakers in our country. 2nd officer shows that law enforcement doesn't care about both sides of the story. I remember way back when in school we celebrated our freedoms and rights with school plays, standing for the Pledge of Allegiance & even morning prayer for those who wished to participate. Schools, neighborhoods and even homes were much friendlier and safer. I'm not willing to give up ANYMORE of my liberties nor am I trying to infringe on others' rights. Thanks so much Jason for the work you and Ben do. It’s made me more incredibly aware of my rights as a Canadian. I took part in supporting the truckers protest here in Ontario. We’ve been in lockdown for almost two years now. Canadians have been restricted from celebrating all holidays with our family’s. Not being allowed to leave our homes or allowing family members that don’t reside with us in our homes for holidays like Christmas is now over!!!! Canadians have been pushed to a breaking point. Yuma has lots of great police. They are some of the best anywhere. They deserve to be respected and appreciated. I have lived here for many years and have seen their behavior many times. Thankful for our law enforcement

First officer very respectful and also very aware. He instantly knew to step in and protect the citizen from that second cop. Which is very telling that he knows he has to step in. Which indicates to me that he knows that cop is a threat to public safety.

You'd find your training AND discipline is there when you need it. I have always found the more familiar you are with your abilities, the less inclined you are to use theme ad hoc. Now, throwing your laptop and/or phone is totally permissible and understandable. Cops are infuriating.

The second cop went inside and took that lady’s word when that business has how many cameras outside and inside that he should have asked her to show him when they were on the property and then give a warning. Too many cops taking a person’s word these days over investigating and getting evidence first which is causing too many innocent people getting arrested or assaulted by police officers and costing these towns a lot in lawsuits. I think all these auditors should be training police these days about the law, etc. Feelings don’t trump rights! 🇺🇸

What I've learned from watching you and others is that no matter how nice and cordial you are, or if you answer their questions and tell them you have a right to do what you're doing they'll still call the cops. The only difference is by refusing to answer, it avoids the back and forth argument before they call lol.

It's a generational and training thing. I got stopped by a cop who was looking for a wanted suspect..cop was 50 or so. Gets out of the car shines the light at me and said nope not looking for you! Have a nice day sir. Didn't ask me for my license etc. Now imagine a younger cop. He probably would have not told me anything asked me for my license attempt to incriminate me and search my car just because he can.

@@OldCBnGuns idk i think bad traits can spawn in either generation with or without proper training, im not American, I'm Australian, but usually when the cops here are looking for somebody and i get pulled over, its usually the younger cops that i have that nope not the guy situation with and its the older cops that see me in a hoodie whether its dark or bright and think he's gotta have a warrant or drugs on him lets search him and make him give us his information and hold him up from getting to his destination for 15 minutes cause we can.

So, the second cop instantly thinks you were on their property, but wont accept the fact the caller lied on a police report (phone call). Why am I not surprised? 1st cop did an excellent job

Oh boy have I missed you guys soo much! 😄😍 The education that flows out of you AP is like warm butter....lol! It is soo nice to hear it and watch it happen soo naturally for you! I think more and more people are getting it...however, it's not enough and who knows when it will ever be enough. Our own citizens and especially "The Authori-Tays" are still on this ignorant notion that they can convert any constitutionally protected activity into a crime. I would love it in a perfect world if our President; who is the highest in The Chain of Command to force our screwed up system to be fixed. Where our Civil Liberties and rights under our constitution is the Top Priority in our country to learn and to exercise. It should be required to learn in each and every school within our education system as well as every government entity especially Law Enforcement. How we can call it "Law Enforcement" when they don't even know it in order to protect our civil rights? It is soo backwards but yet I still should be greatful we are not like a lot of other countries at least! 🙏

When I was a security guard at a section 8 apartment complex there was a guard that would harass the tenants. I relieved him one time and he stated “What did these n-words do today” I was blown away. One day someone was working his shift, and the local gang compelled a mentally challenged kid to ambush and shoot the guard. They attempted to kill the bad guard and ended up killing one of our best guys. So, your statement of a cops worst enemy rings true with me.

I worked for a prestigious security company here in Australia, the company was made up of ex-servicemen who mainly provided security for universities, government property and the ultra wealthy, I was stationed at a university and I realised quickly that my boss was racist, he made the mistake of denigrating coloured people to me by using the "N" word and other disgusting remarks, I informed him that one of my great grandfather's was a full blood Australian Aborigine and I wouldn't tolerate his racism, he 💩 himself when I told him that, I was assigned to a different location the next day and given permanent night shift as punishment for calling him out, it was only after I anonymously informed the university facility about the situation that the racist scumbag was also reassigned.

Please. Everyone understand that if a middle-aged white guy with a teenager can have the cops called for being disagreeable, imagine what a young black man must deal with if he behaves similarly. Think about when it's dark outside. With no cameras. Outside of a public street. This is why police culture must improve.
