I mean have you been around straight jocks? In high school I did football and wrestling and the saying nothing gayer than a bunch of straight guys is absolutely true. We were mandated to shower after practice to prevent staph infection, and since most of the underclassmen were self conscious about the nudity the upper classmen thought it was hilarious to act as gay as possible (slap asses in showers, intense pecker gazing, and wrestling in showers. ) Found out years later that the only one that came out as actually gay was the dude who participated the least.

@@vanitas8333 With Adam he might actually be gay and is also extremely flamboyant. With Cherry and Joe their behavior suggests a past relationship with some tension but I doubt it. Although they've shown Joe flirt openly with women and Cherry getting irritated by it. Now between Reki and Langa it's just extreme innocence and cuteness that's painted like a possible relationship but it's not. In a way it could be baiting and yet it's still funny. So I guess it's partly suggested but really fan service left to the imagination.

This was the episode where I quit watching...Because at that point I realized Sk8 was Yaoi & that's a Genre I'm not into, My Main Reason for watching it in the first place is because I love skateboarding as much as I love Anime so of course I was really happy to first hear about it It's just a shame that I decided to stop watching because at first I was really impressed by all the research the animation team had put into the different styles & tricks

@@shirokumaotaku sk8 really isn't a yaoi. there is no romance between the two main characters, it's only implied by the englsih voice actors because they ship the main two. if you solely want a skateboarding anime, just watch the sub. but honestly, neither the sub nor dub are yaoi at all

Those are like polar opposite characters, that’s pretty funny 😭 I only watched DLSK in the dub because I watched a little clip of it here on RU-vid in the dub and it was hilarious, so for all the English VAs I heard some lines from characters in DLSK and knew immediately who was who. Saiki’s brother (can’t remember his name) has the same English VA as Oikawa from Haikyuu, Nendou has the same English VA as Coach Ukai (the young one) from Haikyuu, Kaido has the same English VA as Yuri Plisetsky from Yuri on Ice, and those are all the ones I know so far. It’s funny, when Saiki’s brother was first introduced, I remember I wasn’t looking at my phone at the time and when he started talking I thought I had somehow gotten into Haikyuu, he sounded so much like oikawa 😂

Both 'couples', if you will, care a lot for each other of course but I'm not convinced there's any hanky panky going on between episodes, beyond what fanfiction writers want to believe.
