You are amazing I need to pay way more attention to pop tunes. I have been watching your videos and I don't even know half of them. It's so easy to get sidetracked by these RU-vid guys that have pyrotechnic chops. But you have those and you have taste you lay down beautiful on the foundations and any band that has you as a member should consider itself lucky. Because I don't know the originals most of the time I don't know what the real baseline is. Do you embellish and add your own ideas or are you playing like it was on the recording?
Thanks for the huge compliment. Indeed I don’t care about pyrotechnics. I can’t use that live backing up artists. Mostly you don’t get a solo spot. So I focus on the job. Some clips I do I stick close to the original. Sometimes I do something completely different. 😊🙏🏽

Thank you! It’s both pups full. Through the UAD SVT plugin, some compression en a very light chorus. I had a lot of Foderas, but this one is one of my favourites.
@@juanbassist31 with the plug-in I kept it open. When playing live with my Eich I noticed the high is very pleasing and not harsh. So I left it open. When straight in a DI I pull the tone back. On every bass. The ES5 suits me better then the expensive ones, I had more then 10 of them..
@@azharimran1105 ken Smith had a very distinct character that punches through a mix easily. This Fodera is more a 70ies jazz when played in single coil. In humbucking it tends to a ks more indeed. The ks is punchier I think
