Bear Country- especially as you enter long stretches without many resupply options, remember bears will swipe packs containing food as will raccoons, etc. Safety thought of the day!

Very nice. Good to see you back on the trail. That ski area looks pretty cool. Going to be nice to have a sunset and sunrise, cool. I was wondering how hot and humid it was there. It’s pretty rough all over the East Coast. The humidity kills me.❤❤❤❤❤ I had a pretty nice little hike this morning, but my dog and myself were drenched in sweat By the time we did 2 miles! We had to quit, he is 13 in July and I just turned 71, so we did well anyway, lol but we saw an owl up close, he was not afraid of us, and that was pretty cool.

That is a long time in a car especially when you're not used to vehicle travel, but Im sure it was worth it being able to spend Father's Day weekend with your kid. Pretty cool way to start out the last few legs of the trail too. A few nice days with your son, then climbing up to the ski resort. I dont think I've seen that ski area in other videos. Very neat. Have you ever tried alpaca wool? Ive had the socks for outdoor farm work as well as snowmobiling and winter sports and I loved them. My feet were nice and warm without being sweaty and bulky in boots. Id like to see a review of alpaca clothing for hot weather if you ever decide to do that. It seems to have a lot of nice benefits for hiking. Big ❤ to Leo ✌️🫶

Don't know if anyone has warned you, but there is an attack eagle about 4 miles south of the Kennebec River Crossing in Maine. It's attacking people. Watch out for it with yourself and Leo.
