Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks punched their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals after a 103-96 Game 7 win over Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers. Atlanta’s point guard had a cold shooting night, but he finished with 21 points as he put the finishing touches on Philly. Embiid scored 31, but it wasn’t enough as fellow All-Star Ben Simmons finished with just 5 points. The Sixers will now head into the offseason with doubt surrounding the roster. @@baka825 nah Doc a terrible coach and Ben Simmons is no where near PG. Doc has blown 3 3-1 leads, a 3-2 lead in the finals, a 3-2 lead in the ECF, and numerous other leads. Tyron Lue not even an elite coach and his rotations were way better than Doc's. Obviously ben is just trash but doc is not a good coach. Plus, the Celtic's assistant Tom Thibs designed the game plan to stop kobe which helped them win the '08 ring, AND the celtics had 4 HOFs so obviously they were going to win

The loss is mostly on Simmons, but there’s so many reasons also: Doc’s failure to make in-game adjustments, Joel Embiid’s health and lack of ability to close games, Tobias Harris’ scoring inconsistency, Seth Curry’s terrible perimeter defense. Philly has some questions this off-season

Ben isn’t considered a top 5 player all time. The standard is different... Mike averaged 33 for his career in the playoffs. So if he dropped 27, it would be a bad game. But for 90% of the league that would be a good game.

What's interesting though is that the game was tied up when Simmons went out late in the fourth, apart from Seth Curry, Embiid and Harris the rest of the team did nothing either. Dwight did nothing all series, hopeless. The Sixers also failed to switch up their offence and became predictable late down the stretch, which was made worse by Simmons not shooting either, so Doc is also to blame big time
