Here are another couple of flights from Barcelona Jets 2021, first one shows Ralf Buege's huge and super-scale PC-21 from Skymaster powered by a JetCat SPT 10, then a TNT Models 1/7th scale F-16 by Vicente Ruano powered by a Jets Munt Merlin M90 turbine engine.
The Skymaster suffered an engine stop towards the end of the flight and the pilot had to land without power. He touched down slightly short of the runway (no big deal with the trailing link struts) but otherwise managed fantastically an emergency situation and brought the model back in one piece! :)

Barcelona jets is an international R/C jet meeting organized in Catalonia, at the RACBSA model aircraft Club in Montcada i Reixac, next to Ripollet in Catalonia, just a short drive from Barcelona. The original idea was to celebrate another 'Cerdanya Jets' (which got cancelled back in 2020 due to the global pandemic) but there were problems with the new aerodrome manager so instead the event came back to its origins... sad to an extent, as the organization was forced to limit assistance, but it was also cool to have this amazing event back at our local Club! :)
