Skyrim: 5 More Hidden and Unmarked Locations You May Have Missed in The Elder Scrolls 5 (Part 3) 

It’s getting to the point where Nate needs to start creating his own adjectives to describe Skyrim

This is actually so sad. Nate always asks as how's it going, yet we never respond with the same. So, how's it going Nate?

Maybe someday he'll make a series titled "10 Essential NPCs You can't murder to death."

You forgot the most important unmarked location: Just south of whiterun, on the path to rorikstead, you can find a trail, and if you follow said trail you'll come upon a miniature tomb, commonly known as Ragnar the Red's tomb. Riddled with skeletons, you'll have to bash and thrash and clash your steel against those who charged in, but came out with no zeal. After they're dead, you can finally discover the end of the poem as there's a leveled enchanted helm and next to it a skull, within bars of an isolated tomb. I guess Ragnar died the same he lived. Behinds the bars of his lies.

I love Solstheim, I literally explored every nook and cranny my first time there and was really disappointed about the lack of stuff after it was done.

I found a lone giant next to a swamp somewhere in the east of Skyrim. I would have forgotten about it, but there was something special about him. When I first got here (my first playthrough), I was about level 5, hunted by a sabercat and I ran past the giant in the hopes that he would kill it for me. He did, and that's when I noticed that he wasn't turning hostile towards me, even though I got very close. Curious, I came closer, very careful and slowly, but he didn't turn hostile towards me. So I took some valuables and dropped them next to him to thank him for saving me. At that point, he turned to face me, but he didn't attack. He just looked at me. I still go and visit him from time to time, just chilling with him and sometimes watching the sunset.

I find gold on Falmer all the time, maybe they just like the shiny (despite the fact they can’t see, even though their arrows hit me 🤣). You can find gold on animals too, did they eat it?

I have some things u maybe didnt know yet. Both in mzulft. At the entrance inside is a mammoth skeleton which is quite weird. And you know how when in the mages guild quest line on the map at the end of mzulft it shows 2 locations, the eye and staff location, once you finish the quest line and the eye is removed it is actually gone from that celestial looking map. maybe you can do something with these for a video.

In the next elder scrolls I hope they add kajit and argonian skulls it would help with environmental story telling and would be a hell of a decoration

Nate, I don't know if you have already included this, but there's a cool random encounter with guards that happens when you equip Mehrune's Razor. There's a small chance a guard will walk by and whistle and then say "Who'd you have to kill to get THAT blade?"

Hey Nate. I don't know if you have found this one yet, but somewhat north, and a little bit of west from the travel to Solstheim arrow-like map marker, there is an unmarked location with a makeshift flag, a skillbook, a skeleton and some gold ingots. Next to it is the border of the map, so it's really on the very edge of Skyrim. It would be nice if you'd feature it in the next video.

One unmarked location I found once was this burned house near riften. The house has a burned corpse inside, and a summoning scroll for a flame atronach. You don't have to be very smart to deduce what happened. Whoever lived there wanted to summon a flame atronach, was unable to control it, and it burned him and his house down.

Don't know if uve covered these two things yet... In Skyrim while I was playing their was a glitch I've encountered that sometimes causes fish to swim above the water. It happened to some spaidtale. Also in fall out 4's load screen thiers one that has a postal w a scope. The scope has a city in the scope on the loading screen . Don't know what city it's of though

To the northwest of the Alchemists Shack, there is a trail heading north into the mountains. There is usually a bear guarding it. Along the trail is a couple of ore deposits and some Thief skill books next to them. The oddest part about this trail is the door at the top. It's just a door standing there and it leads nowhere. You can open it and close it, but it's just a door, nothing else.

Based on what’s around the lake, it seems like it actually may be bigger than it used to be, since the keep where you get azura’s Star is partially submerged

Just a tip I feel like you should use more of the songs on the Skyrim soundtrack as your background music. The main theme is great and all but it gets old after a while.

Hi Nate, I saw what looked like a ritual stone poking out of the water in a lake so I dove down and found a dragon mount circle and a treasure chest. There wasn't much notable in the chest but it was a curious find. I don't know which lake that was though.

Never mind the book, I want to know more about that unique blade. Is it a type of dagger? Does it have good stats? I hope ES6 has more visually unique weapons with good stats.

On the note of the lake being bigger at some point, I dont doubt it. Because of Admora being cool glaciers are sure to be forming, thus resulting in water levels going down.

I wonder how many of those locations had hidden travel markers to them. Also #4, a lifetime of riches, with my character (Transmute Mineral Ore+Prowler’s Profit) I can find the same amount of valuables in five minutes.

(i know this video was 2 years ago but i couldn't find anything else lower than 2 years) theres a hidden little boat just a bit west of sky haven temple where you can find some flawless ruby's and a chest under the water just near it same as a strong box and a satchel.

More of a helpful hint I just found out and figured id share, if you're over-encumbered in inventory weight, drink a strength potion that increases your carry weight for (x) amount of time so you're able to run again and you can actually fast travel anywhere regardless of the amount of time it takes, so you can go to a town where your house is so you can drop your loot off and not have to make a second trip

Well, in the lore of Skyrim, Lake Illinalta is supposed to be one of the largest lakes in Tamriel. If it were scaled up to be lore-friendly, it would probably be like Lake Baikal or Lake Michigan, or maybe even Lake Victoria.

The sarcophagus thing is probably a reference to Hamlet, the skull is Yorick's, someone Hamlet knew from his youth whom he recognises by his skull, creating the iconic imagery of his addressing this line to the skull in one arm, Bethesda probably intends you to recreate this imagery

The boat wreck in the lake might be a reference to the Roman pleasure vessels there were sunken in Lake Nemi. Local folklore said that the very small lake had massive ship ruins beneath the water, but no one really believed it because 'how and why did they get there? Lake Nemi is very small and landlocked!' Mussolini had the lake drug in '27 and found that there were indeed two massive wrecks at the bottom. Pleasure liners built by Caligula in the 1st century that were going to later be transported to the ocean. Mussolini had them brought up, restored, and exhibited as a fascist power move, but the facility holding them burned down during the war.

The skeleton mining the gold ore might've been a Snow Elf, thus a Falmer. Because, pretty sure you know the Snow elves' Mer name are Falmer

Caligula built 2 enormous sips on Lake Nemi during his rule. They were like luxury ships, elaborately and exquisitely decorated and adorned. The lake is pretty small and the vessels were way too massive to be practical on the lake. The last story in this video reminded of that and I wanted to pass it along. Maybe Bethesda had something like this in mind.

There is a small sunk boat in a river to the west of Sky Haven Temple. Lots of gems in boat and other loot scattered in river in strong current. No journals or any information.
