I actually didn't think they were that strong, but after testing them, I got surprised. 😂 Their main trait is a high damage output, which makes them decent even if they have low health.

Yes, he beat 4/5 without even using his shield! I was surprised too. And the sword and shield versions are slightly weaker. I have tested them against the two-handed chiefs before making this episode, because I wanted to feature the stronger one. 😄

Yeah, I totally see what you mean. I've been thinking about including some frostbite spiders in my videos, but way too many NPCs in Skyrim are immune to poison, sadly. The strongest Spriggans are only mid-tier enemies, so I'll have to check with opponents are somewhat balanced against them. 🤔 Thanks for the idea!

Yeah, the levels in Skyrim are not always good for a comparison. The Chief's damage output is impressive!

Remember that they have the famous perk "Extra Damage 2.0"

The 5 are actually surprisingly balanced. I think 6 would take him down pretty consistently, although I haven't tested that, so maybe not. 🤔 A big factor are the weapons of the Chiefs. 2 of them have a shock enchantment, and I've seen the Ebony Warrior unable to heal because he was out of magicka, which usually was lethal for him

Pretty surprising, isn't it? The Chiefs, provided they spawn with a good weapon (which they did here), have some of the highest damage outputs of generic opponents in the game. Not a lot of NPCs can match that, and together with their stagger and the Skullcrusher perk which ignores half of the armor rating, even the Ebony Warrior gets in trouble! And thanks! 😁

I'm definitely going to make an episode about a Dwarven Sphere Master, and I have tons of other ideas as well. Thanks for the feedback! The Ebony Warrior vs. the 5 Chiefs was actually pretty balanced, and I have seen him die several times during my recordings. 😄 Karstaag could have killed way more though, yeah. I wanted to use the same amount so we can compare his performance to that of the Ebony Warrior, but maybe more of them would have been more interesting. 🤔 Hmm, tough question! Yes, I do like soundtrack music a lot, from games and movies. For my videos, I almost always choose cinematic tracks without copyright, so I won't have ads on my videos or get my channel into trouble. Finding music that fit the style and the duration of the video is really tough. Two Steps from Hell are awesome, and like you've said, legends like Hans Zimmer and John Williams. But I also like M83, AC/DC, Ed Sheeran, and Amy Macdonald, just to name a few. Something out of almost every genre, really. Although, I mostly listen to instrumental music, especially guitar and piano, since I play the guitar myself. My favorite musician of all time is Sungha Jung. If you're interested in fingerstyle guitar, maybe give him a try! 😄

I always thought Bandit Chiefs weak enemies but I guess I was wrong. Yeah, TSFH is really good. M83 I like two songs from, Midnight City (the obvious one) and We Own The Sky. It really depends on how much Karstaag stomps. 😄If he never does, then 15 of those Bandit Chiefs would wipe the floor with him. And yes, they're pretty good! The highest-level Chiefs (like in this video) use a Marauder template, so they're very similar.

I sort of fixed it for regular ones, but the Forgemaster remains broken. If the Messenger is similar in size, the same problem would apply to him, and there is no fix for that, sadly

Thank you very much! 🥳 It took me a little over 5 hours to get all the recordings. Together with the editing, the whole video took a bit over 8 ½ hours. That's about average for my battle videos 😄

@@groudonmeowth4327 Only the floating healthbars are a mod. Making those battles is fairly complex when lots of details come into play, but generally, I use console commands to spawn NPCs and toggle their AI and aggression. It's possible on any PC version of Skyrim, just has a certain learning curve 😄

I might make another episode with him at some point, since several people seem to like the battles with him. 🤔 For now, I have other episodes scheduled though 😄

@@lSlendermaster I did indeed ! I also wonder if you can manage to create a custom dragonborn, make him a combatant in the series along with the ebony warrior. I know it's not an easy job though. He may be someone who's slightly stronger than the ebony warrior with stats since he's going to be ai controlled. Or you can also try to do some scenes which you particiapate as a player as well, not necesarrily you need to be a dragonborn, you can be a random guy. Like; standart imperial soldier against 5 ai stormcloack, there also some mods which enhance ai movement and combat as well, like they spamming attack same as player, it would be fun to watch ! ​@@alcorongame Great! 😎 Personally, I'm not a big fan of modded creatures unless they have interesting traits, like unique animations or effects. From my experience, a lot of modded NPCs are ridiculously overpowered, which make all vanilla NPCs seem like complete trash. This would be somewhat understandable if it's a huge legendary creature or something, but many just have stats like 20,000 HP or crazy perks. Although, I am currently working on my first modded creature, and I'm really happy with the result so far. I'll probably save that for a special episode which isn't going to happen soon, but when it does, it might be one of my best episodes. 😎 As for combat overhaul mods, I always avoid those because I want vanilla combat mechanics, except for bugfixes. So I'm sorry to say that I probably won't do that. 😅 Thanks for the suggestions though! It's always good to know what people think 😄

I will definitely do that sometime, he's on my list already! Dukaan is better because of Ahzidal because of his summon, you're right. 😄There are a few problems though. Dukaan's spell can be blocked by any ward in the game, easily making him lose if their opponents keep them up all the time. I have tried Dukaan vs. Ildari, and he got destroyed because of this. Another smaller issue is that many NPCs in Skyrim have frost resistance, but not many have fire resistance. There's a much smaller variety of opponents that would make for a good fight against Dukaan because of this. He wouldn't stand a chance against Miraak because Miraak has 60% total frost resistance, as opposed to only 40% total fire resistance. About the arena: I was going to use his tomb because that's where he spawns in, but that's not very big. 😅 I'm not sure what other option there is. I don't want to put him in another tomb that has nothing to do with him, and I can't put him in a random outdoor environment because it's almost impossible to get good recordings there (I have tried, and it's very frustrating so I'm not dealing with this again 😂). I could use my "standard" arena that I often have in my videos, like in my Ahzidal episode, but I want some variety. What do you think about those problems? 🤔 I could probably figure something out, but I'd like to consider your opinion 😄

@@lSlendermaster You're absolutely right, Dukaan magic really can be ineffective because many creatures in Skyrim have resistance to frost magic. Obviously Ahzidal does the most damage, but the lack of summoned creatures is a noticeable disadvantage. In this sense, the strongest priest is Zahkriisos, he, like Dukaan, summons the Seeker, but, unlike Dukaan, attacks with electricity, and almost no one has resistance to electricity magic, so I would like to see a video of Zahkriisoos, he really is extremely strong - stronger than Dukaan and doesn't have the disadvantage that Ahzidal does. As for the arena, it doesn't matter to me if the tomb has anything to do with the Priest, I'd love to see fights in any arena, so you can use your arena :)

@@lSlendermaster I also wanted to see a video of Frea. I personally confronted her with General Falx Carius and Tsun and she defeated them. Her level is the same as the protagonist's, and her hp can go up to 1100. At the same time she is clad in strong armor and quickly attacks with two axes at once, which makes her a very strong warrior. Will there ever be a video with her? The location could be a Skaal Village or the Temple of Miraak.

​@@n1mm3r I have actually done some very thorough tests with a lot of NPCs regarding their damage output and resistances, including those 3 Dragon Priests. 😄 Ahzidal and Dukaan do the same damage per hit, but Dukaan's spell does it as damage over time (5 seconds), while Ahzidal's spell does it instantly. He also causes a bit of additional damage because it sets the target on fire. I have measured Ahidal's damage per second at 60.4 and Dukaan's at 58.2. On the other hand, Zahkriisos only reached 41.2 (not counting their summons). That's because his spell is weaker, and NPCs have trouble with concentration spells in general, making him very difficult to use in battles. Ahzidal and Dukaan are very similar, with Ahzidal having a few slight advantages, but Dukaan having the summon, ultimately making him better. Zahkriisos doesn't compare because all Dragon Priests have a lot of magicka and a much faster regeneration rate than humanoid NPCs, so they rarely run out of magicka. If you see a Dragon Priest not attacking anymore, it's almost always based on bad AI rather than lack of magicka. His shock spell also only hits a single target, while Ahzidal and Dukaan can hit lots of enemies in a row. However, Zahkriisos has a much higher magic resistance than the other Priests in the game, so he's tankier. For my Dukaan episode, I want to put Dukaan against Zahkriisos to see who really takes the crown, but Dragon Priests are incredibly buggy in general, and Zahkriisos is even worse, so no promise that I'll be able to do that. 😅 If they were less messy, I would use them more in my videos. Alright! I have lots of episodes scheduled already, but I'm always looking for new ones. I almost forgot that I wanted to feature Dukaan sometime, so good timing, thanks! 😂

Many, many values there are totally wrong. 😅 When you put her against Falx, and Tsun did she have any custom gear? And do you happen to remember what level you were? I probably won't make a video about her anytime soon, maybe in the future. 🤔 It's difficult to balance an NPC with no level cap. Should I pick a static level for the whole video, or should I change the level for every round?

There are magic and melee versions. The melee ones never use magic. Against a melee bandit, I also choose a melee Briarheart because that makes the most sense.

What do you considered magic because the Reaver Marauder was also using some.

@@AgentGibbs People were interested in seeing a comparison between a bandit and a reaver, so I picked the strongest versions. The reaver is a spellsword, while the bandit and the Briarheart are melee.
