I think South of Heaven was a great album, but Reign in Blood 🩸 is still their best! A special edition on vinyl is needed even a box set similar to Motley Crües shout at the devil 👿! They could put lots of evil 👿 extras in that lol 😂.
Nice unboxing video! 🤘 I don’t see any numbers on my copy. It’s a badass release, for sure. It’s funny though: That flyer was for the June 21, 1984 show at The Country Club, six months after the album debuted. Love the set. Proud to have one. 👍🏻

My 3 favorites on this one are what I like to call the unholy trifecta. Metal storm/ face the slayer. Going right into Black Magic which is in my top 5 all time favorite metal songs. Then finally Tormentor. How about yours
I hope this release is numbered but I"m not sure...I would have to go for Die By The Sword, The Antichrist and Black Magic as my three SNM faves. Keep up the fine content.
Great vid man! If I could only own one Slayer album, it would be that one. It's the first I heard, and perhaps not considered their best, it is my fave. Most of that's nostalgia. I had a 90 minute blank cassette with this on one side and Holocaust on the other...as we had no money, so many of mine were copies back then. I like a few after, but still go back to Show No Mercy the most. I love the rawness of this one. I might grab that one as it looks like they packaged it nice. Thanks buddy and I completely agree with you why it might not be there best. It is the one that sounds the most like early '80s thrash metal in my opinion. I highly recommend picking it up. It's limited to 6,000 copies and I've seen a bunch on some online record store sites still available. Totally worth the money in my opinion
Dude this Show No Mercy box set is badass I actually preordered my copy and I actually got it in the mail like almost a week before it actually came out but the box set is badass it’s so awesome that the vinyl is pressed from the original 1983 master tapes and I also love the color of the vinyl gold with black dust splatter and the vinyl sounds amazing and even though it’s not my favorite Slayer album it’s easily hands down one of my all time favorite metal debut albums of all time along with the debut albums of the big 4 Kill ‘Em All, Fistful of Metal and Killing is my Business and of course Iron Maiden self-titled album 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you. I got a lot of my shirts at shows but places like night shift merch and indie merch are great. As are records company merch sites. Metal blade. Nuclear blast relapse. Etc. When in doubt bands websites are awesome too. But I always get shirts at shows. Always.
It's not my favorite Slayer album. South of Heaven and Reign in Blood are but I do love this one because if the rawness too it. It's got that early '80s thrash metal sound that I like so much. Might even be because I'm a huge Judas priest fan and I hear a lot of early priest on this album just a little faster
