Your videos helped me through my last situationship breakup. We never got back together and I've learned how toxic that relationship was. I'm 8 months into my current relationship, and although we've had ups and downs, the thing you've taught me have helped keep my head straight as an anxious person. I feel the relationship is a little rocky but it is the most secure one I've been in and the most down to earth. Thanks for helping bring light to all these bad behaviors as it really helps me. I have a guy who most of the time doesn't text me back but he wants me to travel to see him 26 hours away. I can't even make the plans to come out because his answers on what dates are half assed. I told him "So I don't want you to feel attacked or anything but I have to be honest. I am very hesitant to come out based off the lack of action/text. I'm just saying I could happily be ignored by someone local if that was something I was into. Not trying to be mean, just being honest " basically that he needs to put in an effort or I'm out. I guess I'm strong in this stance. I've worked on myself too much to eat $hit from anyone. I let days and days go by in-between texts so I don't feel I'm needy. I've never said anything before but I'm losing interest and I'm not settling.

I have been in no contact with my nars ex after verbally abusive discard. It's been 2.5 months. I thought he will never contact me again because now he has what he always wished for and compared me with.. He emailed me fewdays back that he wants to return my gifts and was asking me to tell him my address. (His best friend lives in my city as well. They know where my house is) May be I am overthinking. He just want to return the gifts. He always wanted to return them.. he said this many times. May be he just want to clear the remaining dust from his side as well. Any idea?
If he really wanted to get rid of the gifts he could just throw them out in the trash without telling you about it but the fact he is going out of his way, telling you that he wants to give them back to you & is asking for your address?? He is doing it to get attention from you & to make you feel bad. No only did he discard you in a terrible way he is still trying to hurt you even though he has moved on with someone else. Do yourself a favour & do not entertain this man any more. Don't reply to his messages & you're better off blocking him

According to him But now I don't believe him at all. He used me when he needed me and then moved to someone else when I needed him the most.. my mother died and I kept on begging him to talk to me and marry me .. sigh.. It still hurts really bad..
@@nimzawan Yes it was very hurtful what he did to you. Although you have feelings for this man unfortunately the feelings that he has for you do not mirror yours & they do not come from a place of care & compassion. If anything tell him that that you wish for your property to be given to charity & you no longer wish to be contacted by him anymore. Then block him. As long as there are open channels he will continue to contact you in order to keep you emotionally attached. He may even ask his friends to contact you as they know where you live. If they do, make it clear to them that you do not wish to speak about it or your ex & that you have moved on with your life & so should he. End the conversation & keep it short. When your ex relises that you mean what you say he will back off & move onto someone else. One of my ex's is a terrible Narcissist & I blocked them on my phone about 23 years ago. There was no social media back then when we broke up. They still try to contact me from different account's on social media. I do not reply as I do not give them the satisfaction. I know that they are with someone else & they are treating their partner badly as they did to me but they still try to contact me. Trust me, you are better off away from this toxic, draining person.

I'm sorry, but the entire process is fkn flawed...losing attraction by talking on the phone is a mutual fault. Why is the guy always on the receiving end of that? It forces him to be aloof, taciturn, and dismissive. Women...you all are mysteriously flawed and contradictory creatures, too.
So don't talk on the phone all that much and save it for in person. I think you can't talk a woman out of liking you. I've done it before. There is no mystery if you put it all out there too soon.
Talking too much in the initial courtship phase kills attraction. But if you're exclusive, then that naturally becomes the norm. The issue here is that they became exclusive too soon, in the dating phase, so the frequent communication wasn't good. This girl obviously lovebombed him and came on too strong and he got caught up with it. I know this all too well, it's a sign of a needy desperate woman who's insecure AF and wanted to use him for validation or revenge
@@Adrie1996 having religiously viewed all this channel has to offer, its stories, and the advice given to most men...there's a lot of emphasis on how we are at fault. Generally speaking...you have far more options and we are guilty of "honing in" on the few or one we genuinely like to no avail time and again. So, the guy tried too much to connect...big fkn deal...what more do you want? Quite frankly...I'm personally tired of being the #2, strung along, or jumping through hoops as well as simultaneously being labeled as the lone cause of failure to a budding relationship due to my gender or some inane, momentary behavior. Do I have to be 100% attractive, confident, entertaining, simultaneously affectionate/tactile and aloof at all fkn times? Do I have to have a life purpose even if I still don't necessarily know what career I want as I encroach on the age of 30? Do I have to possess facades of status...money, cars, etc.? Being alone blows to be sure, but damn with everything I've been through over the past decade...I'm certainly coming to terms with the idea that it's better to reconcile with that fact and disengage from it all. I've found another man on my couch, I've had three others cheat on their partners with me after that (one while up to the 7th month of her pregnancy on the poor guy and again thereafter- not proud of that). One a year out from a divorce who introduced me to her entire family as if having me play the role she wanted of the ex-husband she cheated on, and another I had known for years, while on a date, asked me to go to another town to play pool with her "friend" [insert gender neutral name] only to realize it was an old tryst she wanted to see while with me...she snuck off out back when I went to the restroom to make out with the guy before vying for me to drive her home after I came across them. Jesusfkn Christ. The amount of 💩 women are capable of is just as bad...is that the best you all can do? Emulate the pointless careerism and worst qualities of men? I can understand why so many are avoidant, taciturn, and standoffish now in hindsight. Now my father's infidelity and touch&go mentality, which ruined my family when I was a preteen, makes a little more sense...but I can't do that. I don't want meaningless conquests to boost my ego...I don't want to be your Plan B...and I certainly don't want to take another chance at being vulnerable. I've checked myself into a hospital after seeing the guy on my couch in 2019...I've questioned my identity and self-worth after each of those ordeals while desperately wanting intimacy that's out of reach. I have colleagues ask me incessantly if I have a girlfriend..."nope...don't want to get hurt again," I reply. Then I go home...have friends and family tell me that I'm awesome, have my shit together, and that any woman would be thrilled...yeah sure... whatever you say. I'd rather stay home, be reclusive, and go through the drudgery of life at the end of this dead end road I reside on...across the street from a home for sale that I'll never possess and an equally flawed life partner that's a fantastical dream you'd have to be asleep to believe. There's no energy left. There's no therapist or coach that can provide some guidance or newfound clarity. There's no hobby or sport to distract, no pill to alter circumstance, and no amount of sense to ever justify a month's worth of rent to speak to this guy for an hour.

This video in particular is eerily similar to a situation I had earlier this year where I was in a 3 month relationship and the girl lovebombed me and started talking about marriage. We got engaged after a month and then things started to decline. She still had feelings for ex and met up with him and didn't apologize for meeting him and essentially ghosted and blocked me. It was incredibly hurtful, and I'm still doing therapy. I've never proposed to anyone before in my life and this is what fucking happens. I'm going on a slew of new dates that go no where, admittedly I want that same level of sudden attachment but most 'normal' women don't. I try to not think about your concerns. Nobody is perfect, and the women that want it all are the ones you shouldn't be with. Try listing down your strengths, do affirmations, and know you are worthy of love. Do not entertain those that are using you.
