It is so much fun to get packages in the mail in the late winter, because for me that means seeds! The seeds that you got for that woman and her children is such a good choice. I do like flower seeds, but I definitely have a weakness for zinnias! Last year was the first time I had planted amaranth. Hundreds of those 4-lined plant bugs! I have to say I did find it a bit of a funny nuisance. When I would try to cut some stems those bugs were everywhere...Lol!!! I will however be planting them again. 😄

Oh I hear ya on the four lined plant bugs, such pests! Same here though, I continue to torture myself (in a good way ☺️) and will keep growing Amaranth!

So nice of you to order seeds for the new flower gardener. I love ordering seeds from the gardeners workshop... Lisa has the very best selection (at least that I have found) for celosia which in my garden at least is a wasp favorite, bald faced hornets love them. Enjoy your seed haul!
