I can tell you from experience, that is how most wealthy individuals are. LOL. Every time I've met with a wealthy person at their house, they always have a small bar in every room.
If I had to guess they probably don't want to reveal anything to Kara while she's so close with Lex and doesn't have her memory back, to prevent her from spilling it to him. As far as the krypronite effecting people's personality, while I don't think it's outright stated I think it can enhance their personality traits, along with the thrill some may get from having power. Like Pete may feel like he's in Clark's shadow, I think the kryptonite may enhance that feeling and he reacts negatively to what he feels is Clark trying to stifle him, along with him getting an ego boost with having powers and grabbing Kara from that falling thing.
My take on the kryptonite messing with your head is I think the powers themselves changing how you percieve yourself. All of a sudden a world of possibilities opens up, sometimes amazing ones, sometimes terrible ones but it all comes down to the person and the power. There are most certainly plenty of kryptonite infected people who haven't yet and will not cause any trouble, as we know that the meteor shower made a difference infecting people but we've seen people become infected even after that, which means if Kryptonite is the only defining factor in this instance, the number of infected people is likely much higher than we think.
Smallville took a lot of crap for this episode. It got called sellout. That it might as well have been a late night sales infomercial for Stride. It didn't really bother me. It's not like they did it all the time.
Clark and Kara don't have superpowers. Their krptonians they all share those same traits. The meteor people simply have powers. Their situation is more than that.
I still think that if Clark told him a new bunch of shit and conflict would have happened because Lex would use Clark's powers for what he thinks is right which would have been different then what Clark would agree with. No way would Lex be honest with him..he never ones when he did things in the grey
there was a comic about lex when he was in bell reeve after he found out about clark’s powers in season 3, he dreamt that clark would come save him and that he would keep his powers a secret and even though he knew he could get revenge against lionel with clark, he knew it wasn’t the right thing to do and that he promised clark that he would never exploit his powers, anyways clark never saved him so clark is somewhat responsible to what happened to lex, btw the comic is canon
@@riyadaroudaki4297 I wonder how long that would last though. I am sure that he wouldn't at first but how long could he resist. Clark did try and save him in Bell Reeve even though his parents said not to and it put his secret at risk and Lex at risk to Lionel
Pete was such a horrible friend. It's fitting that they brought him back for this horrible product placement episode, one of the worst Smallville episodes ever. Years later he's still jealous of Clark and suffering from delusions of grandeur.
