I was in Suzhou a decade ago. Their buses are already very high tech. They have audio to inform you of the coming stop. And a light panel to tell you where you are now in terms of stops. Then whenever the bus is turning, it will have audio to ask you to hold on tight. Very impressive. But then as a pedestrian on the road, I got problems crossing the big roads as the cars do not give way to pedestrians and electric scooters go in all directions.
@@glenn5517 Which part of US is that? Because US is so big, I find that their public transport system is not accessible as everyone drives. E.g. in LA. I didn't have chance to experience it when I was there two decades ago
Seems each city is getting a different design depending on the company who gets the contract? Watched another video and the design was different, plus no driver at all

That is why I found it odd at first that these panda buses are operating in Tianjin instead of Sichuan --- giant panda's hometown, lol😂 So I guess other city can have some of these buses too? lol, they are too cute to resist!

You had me at self driving, then there was a smart fridge and he bought a drink by scanning his hand. Apparently these smart fridges have known skus and use weight and cameras to determine what you removed from the fridge. Then bill you after you close the door.
It's not low enough, and no retractable ramp for wheelchairs and babystrollers. China should learn from European bus makers regarding compressed air suspensions.
Encourage eat & drink on public bus? There's a lot of this in West, (prohibit food drink) ie Aus, I can assure you the food, drink, & those dropping is a mess on seat & floor in the end. I strongly suggest Not to allow eat & drink on public buses however the rules can be a bit relaxed (ie Not enforce with large fine) In the end it is best to follow what's in Singapore, keeping area clean & neat is important
What happen in bad weather, little old lady nearly miss bus, sink hole, silly person just stand there in way forever, unrecognisable obstruction, medical emergency, crazy driver on road, criminal spray paints onto cameras, onboard computer failure, EMP, someone stuck under bus where cameras don't see, mud splashed on cameras, etc. Just a few simple questions. Not trying to be negative. But I like the 🐼 look.
