SMITE 2 - Alpha Weekend 1 Showcase LIVE SHOW 

Props to Hi-Rez and smite devs for creating and posting a 3 hour deep dive and full transparency on all known issues. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dev team do that for their community.

So much of this looks great, but my favorite has to be the new ability descriptions. In Smite 1, there were so many little inconsistencies between ability texts and I'm super glad to see Ajax was hyped to get all of that ironed out into a much more pretty and functional system.

SMITE | 2 will be amazing and they know it, i'm very excited!

Loved the Alpha. This is going to be a great game.

I'm finally be avalibe to play Zeus again. (VEW) I like how now is more depth to game with this god changes and items.

I appreciate that this version of smite seems less catch up mechanic based than smite 1 currently is. It’s so frustrating being ahead but one mistake lets your enemy laner/team catch up to you after you made so many right decisions. So them giving incentive to capitalize more off your advantage is an exciting change for me.

I am both really excited and nervous. The push for the extreme flexibility and basically gods not having roles makes them basically impossible to get close to balanced, here’s to hoping but I’m def nervous this is just going to be an all damage game all the time

Is there a way to assign active items to specific buttons on console in game or is it just through build order?

About the description for your skills if I jump on a brand new character out of the free hero selection of the week I like to take a quick glance at the skills on the Fly to know how I am playing that character as quickly as possible Candlelight picking a wild card and going with it

Is the Alpha only conquest mode?

I'm all for this but it seems physical will benefit more cause they have both attributes where as the mages will only be stuck in the intelligence category

They 6 actives has me worried for controller. They showcased it with mouse and keyboard but im wondering how this will work on a controller. Most like a LB+A for active 1 and LB+B for activer 2 and ect. Which is not horrible but also not ideal to me personally. I enjoy smite cause its easily playable with a controller and now ill have to remember not only my 4 to 5 skill buttons but also and extra 6 active button combos. Im on the fence about it atm.

Here a Question: Are Yal gonna keep up with Bug FIXES unlike you did in smite 1? And Also when putting something back such as the Clan system are yal gonna follow through with it or will you just gonna hafe A** it like you did in smite 1 when yal moved to STEAM?

Hi Rez please im a random gamer nothing special but i played smite for years and had to stop playing it because of the lag i live in south africa and had to play on eu servers for ages please add south african servers hi rez i miss this game

I dont expect much, but the new UE5 is very future proof so it can evolve further in 10-20 years

Please add a mastery skill tree or an in game skill tree like dota 2! The game is too simple right now

NEith looks to have the same wind up cast speed for her 1 as in smite 1. I say it needs to have atleast a shorter windup. It is a REALYY hard abilty to hit on a good player, even worse then Than scythe. Please change it to either have a higher velocity or shorter wind up.

Это так игра будет выглядеть? о нет, что вы наделали. Окружение, статуи, камни, трава, и другое просто ужасное. Графика стала мыльной, всё расплывчатое, я в шоке. У них геймдизайнеры вообще есть? Они в курсе что из приятной, ламповой игры, они сделали клон провальной, бездушной моба Paragon? Smite мне нравится это хорошая моба, но разработчики сделали всё чтобы её убить, и игра умирала, и сейчас smite 2 окончательно добьёт компанию. Хотя может быть они в курсе и просто отмывают деньги, тогда вопросов нет, молодцы.

I have an idea dev team, if youll please listen. Make Neith ult Nuwa ult, But keep its current functionality. If a player blocks it they take the extra shots blocked. Completely change Nuwa. That is all. You talk about wanting better player expression in the game, Nu wa needs changes to ever have a different game plan from another player. I personaly want to player her, like her, As she stands in smite 1... there is no god more gimmky and boring to play than her.

Thank you for remaking the exact same game with 90% less content, having to repurchase every god I've ever bought, having to repurchase skins and losing all of my mastery. I will give you all of my money. Its clear that you respect me as a player and you definitely are not milking me for every penny.
