Smite - 5 Reworked Gods And Their Old Abilities 

Obviously this doesn't cover every god rework in Smite. Didn't want the video getting too long so I just limited it to 5.

Can we have an honorable mention for old nemesis who could and would reflect an infinite amount of damage for a second, allowing her to fully heal and one shot someone simply by walking into a strong enough attack?

The Vulcan one is funny since I always thought it was particularly strange that he had a hammer and wasn't a melee fighter before I understood how class basic attacks worked.

tbh all I miss from Nu Wa is her passive, its way better and more original than that root which we have now -.-

They need to bring old nu wa back tbh

the sad part in the kali conflict was that in hindu art and lore she was pretty much naked

Man everytime I see Old Wa I cry inside, she was the first god I got to 10 back in 2013 and she was my favorite but they had to change her even though I didn't think she was broken or boring at all. You had to be a good Wa player to seem broken.

I miss old Nu Wa... The mist being on you just made so much more sense for damaging and escape. Old Arachne old was great too, hate her new one. Also, the old Conquest maps and art style.

The rework I remember the most clearly was with ratatoskr. I don’t remember what his old abilities were since I didn’t play him that much, but I remember His acorns circling around him, and some sort of lightning ability.

I remember Arachne only arena back in the day...where it essencially came down to one Arachne standing in the spawn and using chain of Cocoons the team tried to pull enemy into their spawn....fun times... Apparently visual rework was because Hindu people claimed that she was "oversexualized"(I mean....there are paintings of Kali naked with just necklace made of heads that covered her nipples...so the "oversexualization was non-sense imo)....

Can we please get that old conquest? The old one looks WAY better than the one we have now.

Do Gods that got removed and then their kit was given to another god, and original god came back reworked count? Examples are like Ao Kuang and Kukulkan, or Sun Wu Kong and Hun Batz?

Thinking about it, Kali rework is what started making most of the gods "romanized" and western. They felt very whimsical before as to now where they feel more grand?

One thing I'm happy about is that they created the Old Wa skin, which I was fortunate to pick up on both PC and Xbox One. But dang, they really should consider adding all that kind of scenery and themes back to their maps. I love all those mid-evil buildings, trees and the very detailed castle in the back! :'|

About old wa: you could also stun enemies with her 3 while they were crossing the ult to proc the damage multiple times. I miss old wa.

I miss the old Arachne... pulling enemies into your base in arena was awesome

loved the old vulcan., got diamond on him. Hate the new one, barely used again. The old one you could kite gods around and control an area. Fun

Btw, was Awilix released before Arachne's rework ? I feel like they wanted another god with a single-grab ultimate after the change.

Best combo in game. I remember Nu wa Fen ult combo HAHA. Activate the ult of Nu wa then pick up enemy with Fenrir and wiggle mouse (head) and Damage just melts them the faster you move them in the ult

Shake and Bake was hilarious back then, but immediately after the rework I won a game by popping ult while having Soul Reaver and Tahuti online, fresh out of the spawn and the entire enemy team was on Fire Giant, wiped the team and we pushed in and won xD So it's difficult for me to choose which kit has been more fun.

I picked up the game at launch and got the all god access for cheap (maybe it was a beta access deal, been too long.) and then I only played for like 3 months. I mainly played Arachne push while ganking enemy camps once my Minions were uncontested. Coming back a couple weeks ago I thought she felt slower. I also played Vulcan a bit since I like engineer/turret characters and also realized he was a whole lot more deadly. I didn’t realize he flipped roles. I like the basic attack causing the molten rift attack. Seems very Silly Anime Powers (I stomp, an army falls over) in a respectful way. Finally, cheers to no more Deaths Whirl Guan Yu. Him and my general lack of being in a MOBA mindset at the time were about equal reasons for me setting it aside. Unrelated, bloody hell have they kept active in adding new gods.

The biggest thing I miss from this video is that old joust map :( so simple and fun

No one seems to remember when Arachne used to be able to clear two camps at once at level 1

I miss when Nu Wa actually depended on the 5 crystals to be good and give her buffs. Now, the crystals are just for visual effects... Her kit was so good

I like playing Nu Wa, I'm rank V with her. I do wish that they kept some aspects of the old kit at least. The five different crystals of her lore really don't factor into her kit much, other than the wood and fire crystals.

@Inter3ct Gaming what you didn't mention about nu wa's old 3 was that it was the only ability that could affect towers and phoenixs. You could even stun phoenixs for a few seconds

Old Ravana :'( still miss him. One of the coolest kits/passives in the game. mde him feel like a jojo character.

Old Vulcan was OP as fuck. Go mage with him and his Inferno Cannon hit for 500+, his Thumper did 150+, then mix in his ultimate and they would go apeshit. And if you built him tank like he was meant to be, then he was the ultimate lane pusher who was a raid boss to take down.

I personally miss the old Ao Kuang. Since the kit has stayed and been given to Kukulkan i think they should add an Original Ao Kuang skin for Kuku. That would make my day. Fav god by far frm the Original handful in Closed Beta

For season 5 I want smite ro bring all the classic maps. Especially the classic joust, and they should bring alot of old skins too.

That Fenrir combo... I never played with old wa, but I would love for her ult to change (because it doesn't do shit) even though I like parts of her new kit, especially the Fog rework, and metal shard.

Old Nu Wa was so much better and so much fun compared to the new one. I still miss the old kit. Even if it is a new god I would love for the old kit to find a successor.

I liked the old Zeus 2 more. The reason why Zeus isn't a magical ADC is because he is too ez to kill, but his passive with double auto DMG definitely would make him a decent ADC if he had some more survivability instead of his current 2

i loved old kali alot better than the one we have these days.

old nu wa was the best and I like the new one but if I could bring one thing back it would be her fog following her and granting a speed boost on cast :(

I'm surprised Cupid and Artemis haven't changed much, beside Cupids unneeded model. Both haven't been reworked since launch, and are the oldest characters.

I'm the only one that loves the actual Nuwa? Like the other one was a monster pushing tower's but that was it.

i got old nu wa X and when she was changed i almost died

Old nuwa was very good, I loved rushing very close to my enemy and then popping her ult and after that simultaneously hitting them with flame strike will kill them so fast, the slow and stun plus damage from how close they were to her was crazy damage
