Hey there Gypsy, thanks for checking out my video! So I am planning on covering that more in a future video when I get to making a full onboard air system, but I am not sure when I will get to that. Essentially to summarize what I did was I picked up approximately 24 feet of I think 8 gauge wire red and black that run from the battery positive and negative terminals to the compressor. I added an inline 40 amp fuse about 12 inches from the positive battery terminal. I also cut off the leads from the compressor at about 18 inches and used some heat shrink connectors that allow the wire I ran from the battery to the compressor for an easy connect/disconnect in case I want to remove or move the compressor. I ran the added wire in the engine bay along the firewall and along the driver side frame rail. I brought that up through the grommet behind the wheel well where the taillight harness passes from inside the cab into the rear corner and then make the connection under the carpet. ​@@VictorVectorJKU Can you provide some details regarding wiring? I'm trying to do the same setup and have an switch box that is connected to the battery. I'm planning on running both positive/negative wires from the switch pod to the compressor. But what size of fuse will this need?

You will need to run the positive and negative wires direct to the battery. The switch pod systems typically cannot handle that level of amperage. You can however take the mechanical switch from the compressor and use that wiring back to the switch pod system to get that functionality. To determine the size of wire I needed to use I did a google search and based on amperage and length of wire. As far as fuse you will need to look up the amperage of the compressor you are wiring to size that appropriately. So specifically for my system I think I used 10 gauge wire and a 30 or 35 amp fuse. This may differ for you, so be sure to do you’re research!

Hey Mike thanks for checking out my video! Honestly I would love to manufacture these and sell them but I have a couple things I would need to do to make the support leg mount to a factory bolt location. Maybe one day!

Yeah the bracket doesn’t require the 40% delete, just how I mounted it to my cargo platform system versus the seat bolt. That is what I would need to do to enable a simple bolt in solution for a typical JKU!
