Just smoked a ham using your recipe and it turned out amazing and so juicy!! For the seasoning I used Honey Hog BBQ from Meat Church. Thanks for sharing
Tried it today. Used apricot preserves instead. Was a MONSTER hit with the family! Thanks for the tips, directions, the show and tell aspect of your delivery of the information is awesome. Thank you!
Man, that is awesome! Thanks so much for letting me know, and the feedback. I’m so glad you, and your family enjoyed it! I hope y’all had a great Easter!
Hey Fred, thanks for the kind words! Glad to hear you’ve enjoyed the process! Please let me know how it turns out, and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Trying this recipe tomorrow. Using Orange marmalade in place of the peach preserves. My wife is not a fan of peaches. I have the same Sucklebusters seasoning locally at Scheels.
Thanks so much bro, I really appreciate that! Definitely going to keep grinding to try and bring people valuable content. Happy Holidays to you, and your family my dude!
Darrin, I’m smoking two of these ham’s today. Every single video I’ve followed of these amazing smoked meats you’ve done, has turned out amazing! Thank you so much for the videos! Merry Christmas!
That’s awesome man! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed the recipes! And thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, that means a lot! Merry Christmas to you and yours as well brother!
@@djmathis4006 awesome! I was hoping to squeeze in another ham video before Easter, but I don’t think I’ll be able to sadly. Perhaps a steak video this week...we shall see. You’re gonna love that turkey for thanksgiving man, it’s so dang good!
@@AshKickinBBQ I smoked the best steaks I ever have yesterday. I marinated them for 24 hours in allegro Tennessee whiskey marinade and then on the Austin XL at 250 until I got the temps I wanted.
@@djmathis4006 wow, that sounds fantastic! I have yet to do a whiskey steak yet, but I’ve heard wonderful things! May have to do a video in the future on that, lol!
So I wanted to make a double smoked ham but I won't have time to do it the day of could I double smoke it and reheat and glaze it in the oven a different day?
@@drakealdrich6299 you’re very welcome brother, always happy to help! The nice think about starting with a smoked ham is that it does have some smoke flavor. Another recommendation I can make is perhaps using a sweet and Smokey bbq sauce in with the peach glaze, that will help give smoke flavor if you were to do it in the oven. Either way, I hope it turns out well, and I hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday season!
