My girlfriends and I went to Shipshewana a few years ago had a great time and enjoyed a buggy ride. Amish gentleman was so nice we had great conversation. He said he really enjoyed himself also.

Hi again. You will gave to come back to Intercourse, PA. There's a place you missed that would be right up your alley. Behind the main drag, there is Barry's Car Barn. Mind blowing collection of cars from all the eras. Then back to Amos's Place for a Reuben. Best ever!

Hey there j&b first of all I'd like to say the place the atmosphere was really nice there and Bobby's chicken that was a big chicken breast and it looked really good and John your sandwich you needed a steamroller to smash that thing down but all your food look really good as you well know I highly respect the Amish community I go once a month not too far from the house and buy stuff from the Amish people great video guys till next video God bless

Feel free to come west to northeastern Indiana to the Blue Gate Restaurant north of US 20 on State Road 5 in Shipshewana & the Das Dutchman Essenhaus on US 20 Middlebury, IN. On Tuesdays & Wednesdays is a large Flea Market in Shipshewana. Places to eat in there too.

I remember this restaurant from years ago when it was a buffet and traditional Amish cooking regular menu. The first trip was wonderful but as the years went by, it became a dated menu. Happy to see the revival but doubt that the Amish have anything to do with it now since alcohol is served. Where we live there is an indoor Farmer's Market where the Amish had several stalls and once they opened a pub type restaurant, all of the Amish left. It was a shame, since the cheese shop was great, but money talks. After Covid, anything that can survive...

I truly enjoy your RU-vid channel, but wanted to suggest April 23rd and 24th in South Pittsburgh, TN is the Annual National Cornbread Festival. It's location is the home of Lodge Cast Iron Factory since 1896.

Went to a Amish restaurant in Iowa many many years ago I was 12 or 13. We had pork chops with apples. It was the best pork chops I ever had. I still remember them all these years later.

I remember when it was plain and fancy family style place times change was the chicken as good as Amos place was because that chicken rocked

Thanks for sharing I ride by there often but never tried the restaurant I will definitely have to stop and try the chicken 👍 I have taken my grandson on the buggy ride he loved it😊

That chicken looks so juicy and tender. The portions are huge. That sandwich burger an mac and cheese looks awesome too. If I did the traveling you did critiquing and eating at all of these restaurants, I would have to bring a cooler of ice along in the car to store the leftovers from those plates that I couldn't finish eating until I got back home. Those huge plates plus dessert is enough for 2 meals in one. You can eat the leftovers the next day and I'm sure it will still be just as good the next day.

DELISH!!! Also perhaps you could try eating at The Kling House at Kitchen Kettle Village, their chicken salad with cranberry orange marmalade is great!

Glad I found your channel. Am enjoying seeing the Amish country and the type of foods they prepare. Visiting Southern locations with the different restaurants and popular "tourist" site are also enjoyable as I've never been to that area of our Country. Today's meals looked very tasty but I would prefer the dark meat and I always take a doggy bag with what I couldn't finish as I'm only able to eat a small amount at a time and wouldn't want to waste good food. The price was reasonable for the amount of food and hope prices don't become out of reach for the average person being able to eat out. Well I'll see you on the next one.
