Holy Crap! This is best news I have heard since 2020!! This made me cry, it was such a part of who I was growing up, and at 71 I still remember the giant strawberry & chocolate ice cream cone and getting to eat there with the family for my H.S. graduation
I loved hearing Uncle Laird tell stories about the ice cream business during the Depression. Aunt was a gracious host; seeing and hearing him brought back great memories.
Please, please, please use the original recipes. There is no better ice cream than Snelgrove's! Burnt Almond Fudge was my favorite and no other brands come close to its deliciousness.
I've never heard of it, but I have heard of Snelgrove Lake. Although, that's in Alaska. There's a cabin there that's famous for being attacked by Bigfoot.
What a reminder of how far the valley has fallen. Dreyer's destroyed the brand. Tons of chemicals and gums. We just want cream, sugar, salt and fruit or other flavoring.Would be cool to see them back with better quality than Dreyer's.
