SNES Longplay [385] Rushing Beat Shura 

This game had a big impact on my childhood! I still love playing to this day!!

The Peace Keepers was a butchered mess. Names been changed, most of the soundtrack was removed or altered except the Sukiyaki stage music, the character portraits was replaced some generic looking mooks, and also the story was pretty much removed. This is definitive version of this game. But thanks to Valis77 making a amazing longplay of this awesome game.

Rushing Beat Shura is Legendary and Amazing on Super Nintendo

with all the games that have been English patched, it's amazing that nobody has done an English translation of this one (I don't understand why, since the story is completely different from Peace Keepers)... this game and Deae Tonosama Appare Ichiban need to be translated!!

Ok, I believe I have EVERYTHING about The Peacekeepers that made it such a watered-down port. The Japanese version, Rushing Beat Shura doesn’t have non of these issues, so please play that version instead. It’s so much better. -Biggest one, NO MUSIC on lvls, you have to 1st manually enable the music in the options -Missing tons of Background music tracks -Removed color edit for character select -Removed name edit for character select -Difficulty settings removed -Game’s balance is uneven -slower paced -Enemies take longer to kill -Watered down plot and dialogue -Enemies were giving bland names -Inferior endings -Digitized faces for the character select screen

the game has several endings, you get the best one if you rescue/talk all the scientist.

I dont know but, the movements of this characters are the same as the characters of streets of rage, i think xd

Buff Doge: This Version Cheem: The US Version (Peace Keepers)

THis beatem up had so much content. Also to me out of all the beatem up games, I feel it had one of the best storylines, probably 2nd or tied with Final Fight storyline.

Man, I used to play the American (?) version of this game so much when I was a kid! It was called Peace Keepers, and now that I see this, I know where all the damn music went! It was so different from it's Japanese counterpart. There's like, NO music in the other version and all the names and portraits seems different.

The Japanese version of peace keepers or should I say rushing beat shura has some catchy soundtrack that's not heard in our oversea version of peace keepers since peace keepers can either play music or mute without music during gameplay as well as prologue, enemies and bosses names, and the selection mugshots of the main characters and everything else being completely change from top to bottom due to nintendo of america strict censorship. Although I never play or even heard about jaleco's brawler peace keepers a.k.a rushing beat shura japanese version at all I only red research on wikipedia and watched videos of jaleco's games but any way thanks for you uploading this video and a special thanks to jaleco who are now defunct but like other old school famous video game companies they where good at making awesome games so thank you for again for uploading this video yeah.

Not sure why they decided to get rid of the music when it was ported to the USA.

The ending was depend character you pick if you play as Dick in first stage you'll fight McCoy as first boss you can rescue scientist before fight mutated Amy you'll get good ending if you pick other character than Dick in first stage you'll fight Bart as first boss but scientist get mutated and you'll get bad ending

I played this constantly with my brother (yes, the Japanese version, though we had no idea what was going on). For some reason we didn't like its predecessor very much.

do someone know the game captain commando ? rushing beat seems a little to be a copy from it size of the caracter, isometric angle, positions,colors... some enemies a clearly looking like twins from captain commando. thanks for sharing

Im surprised you wasnt doing the hidden super throws with the characters. Half circle forward with attack. I loved using Flynn who could low health turn into a "Super saiyajin" lol I liked the US version because of the Replacement of Robots. Instead of the Spider bots it was the ORbots

The closest what SFC owners got for Streets of Rage 2 in Japan. IMO this is better than Turtles In Time, too bad the US version was CRAP.

This game has a story branch when DICK turns on angry floating mode and becomes like the last boss permanently till the end of game. You need 2 players, one plays DICK other plays JIMMY. Meet ????? named green mutant boss girl 2 times. JIMMY must finish her and DICK must see this. At the second ????? kill DICK will turn permanently angry no matter of death or character change.
