this Code Mystics developed port had the PS2/Xbox secret character unlocking system, instead of codes you had a simple button for it, also it had achivements, options with full bars and unlimited exceeds if you are a "plusero" as we said in Mexico.

Since the game ran on old neo geo hardware, it was very easy to emulate on PC immediately after release.

I have hoped and wanted this game to come back for so long. I have it on PS2, imported from Japan. I don’t have a PS2 anymore and haven’t emulated anything for over a decade. It’s so nice to see this coming out and it gives me hope for one of my other favorites from this era, Capcom vs. SNK 2. Do I dare dream of a collaborative effort in a Capcom/SNK compilation in physical release? Hope hope.

I love Capcom versus SNK match of the milennium and played it religiously on my dreamcast as a teen, and later CVS2, but SVC chaos is still am epic game and deserves to be remembered and revived, so super chuffed it is. Plus that lovely lovely old school SNK pixel style is just tops. Also another hurrah for us to finally get CVS3, also all you hardcore CVS gamers, give SVC another go; SNK fighters are every bit as good even if they don't feel like a hallmark Capcom fighter like SF3 or CVS2.

Chun li and dimetri alone look beautiful. Im picking this up on my switch.

i remember my best friend finding a cab of this on this place on 8th St (now called James M Wood) and we walked about 45 minutes to go play it for the first time. we loved it so much, it was different playing with SF characters who could do the C+D knockdown. hes a big Ken fan so Violent Ken was all him. him specifically was always adamant that it was a great game that people were underrating, and time proved him right. its a wonderful fighting game and the end of an era really, you can argue with the wall all you want but from Alpha 2 to KOF 2003 that was the best time for fighting games

I hope they add a quick play matchmaking to Online. The lobby system is a little wonky in design. Other than that, I’m having a good time and happy to report that it’s not dead on arrival on Switch.

CvS3 would take some elbow grease and incredible balancing to make. Capcom would likely need to decide, set and create new models for the SNK characters that they will put to the roster. They would have to consider the overall fighting system(s) that they would use as well. I am very excited and wary of what could potentially end up in CvS3 if it ever is being planned.

I loved this game. The bosses had that ridiculous SNK theme. It felt so good to beat. I’ll gladly play it again. I appreciate a pc release.

This was my Favorite VS game ever as I found that Capcom would always make their VS games Hyper Absurd and that SNK Characters never translated at all to their 6 button bullshit I found that SVC Chaos was able to get the Street Fighter Characters in to their 4 button style a heck of a lot more respectfully since they still played like a Street Fighter game would all while Capcom made SNK Characters suck with their 6 buttons.

We need an Capcom vs SNK 4 and let Capcom do the game play like how was 1 and 2 was the best out of the series

The best part of this game is it featuring the greatest King of Fighters Boss ever. GOENITZ! The guy manifests himself as a catholic priest, tells you to repent to God at the beginning of the match and has some of the most ruthless crowd control moves where he asks god where he wants him to place his attack "koko desuka?"

Capcom is on a roll RE remakes, street fighter collection, fighting collection, beat em up bundle, mvc collection, dead rising deluxe remake. I know this is snk's but capcom will have given their blessing. Come on capcom vs snk collection!!! Hopefully snk could release a fatal fury collection like sg collection would be nice to have them all physically rather than as download titles from arcade archives

Did it really get better cause I still love the original Xbox version better SNK put no vibration in this version I played on PC glad I paid $19.99 not full price I paid for the original Xbox that couldn’t play on the Xbox 350 or Xbox one I never thought this game was going to come back I love this game but I wanted it to play the same way the original Xbox version played

SVC Chaos had the best intro of any game Violent Ken was an awesome addition in this game. I had it for my PS2 and played the hell out of the disc. Athena was a very cheap boss

The fact they use other Capcom fighters in this crossover other the just street fighter in there c vs snk it makes the game unique and fun. People gave this game a bad review it music and gameplay and art was good always wanted a second part. Another game that was freaken hard and people hated was street fighter the movie the game on ps 1 game has hard fun and different wish they remake that one as well

Unfortunately the game has a lot of hit box issues and certain characters are missing certain moves, special moves and for whatever reason there's a secret character that just can't crouch. Uh.. i don't know why it's like that and survival mode is missing. Here's a question, why isn't the game in a collection along with Capcom vs Snk 1/2? 20$ yay

Idk I feel like Capcom doesn't want to make more than one fighting game at a time. They might not even have the man power to do that anyway. It would just compete with Street Fighter 6. It's like making money from a dead elephant. Technically, They are selling old material in a new box. All the game companies are following the same strategy to loot customers as they failed to do in the past (20-25 years ago). Konami (Classic Contra, Castlevania, cowabunga collections), Capcom (Street Fighter anniversary collection), SNK is following the same path. They know how to pull money from the customer's pocket.😂😂😂😂
