Snowrunner Phase 9 Update, New Trucks, New Maps & Year Pass 3 

I'll update this comment as per PTS updates as well as things I forgot to mention in video: -I forgot to showcase custom skins for 4 trucks that are part of year 3 pass: 2 frieghtliners, International HX & Chevy Kodiac. -Zikz 566A is actually based on MAZ 502 not MAZ 200 as mentioned in video | my mistake there. -1st PTS update: Derry Special got it's proper water tank with correct textures but rest of things are more or less same. Zikz 566A: all tires except the muds are 47 inch size only mudtires are 43 inch. -2nd PTS update: Derry Special: new collision model, crane support with crane + bed + trailer combo, 3 slot bed, improved turning radius, improved fuel consumption, snorkel, firefighter skin, bumpers, etc added. Zikz 566A: snorkel, roofrack, bumpers, etc added -3rd PTS update: (probably final before release) -Derry Special: 3 slot bed removed, some more frame addons added but overall they are still generic addons not specially made for this truck but things are looking final now -Zikz 566A: It can now use 1 slot bed with crane & trailer, exausts added, things are looking final now and ready for release. Im surprised that water tanks for the CATs wasnt thought about for this expansion. Both the tanks you can get for them are actually water tanks.

The water tank for ZiKZ 566A is a water tank used by Soviet firetrucks. If you can paint it red, you can cosplay a firetruck.

I think they've missed opportunities in this game to add trailers to make the game easier but lock them behind levelling up.

Year 3 looks awesome so far. Besides the CAT's, they should add water storage to the Loadstars firetruck addon as well.

I am subscribed to another which is click baity af, and I actually hate how the guy works with his editing/playing etc. So, I know what I mean when I say you are doing a very good job on these. They need to figure out a way to add working excavators in to an update with a perhaps small area of deformable scenery that you can dig. In the same way as logging, 3 logs fills the trailer so maybe 5 or so scoops from a back hoe fills a dump truck.

What I like about snow runner is that base game had content which make it worth to buy. I have not finished it but I’m playing from time to time. So for this game I do it mind the “live service model” with DLCs and yearly passes. It is for people who want more. Similar to how ETS2 evolved into a bit similar model. Have a nice time gaming!

seems like a better start for year 3 than 2, new Derry looks good but I'm sure modders will improve/fix all of the issues you mention if the devs don't. 🤔🤔

DAT FUEL CONSUMPTION

Really curious to see how the Derry will perform after the hitboxes get fixed, weight balance, etc. At first I was curious to see it test against the Zikz 605 but right now it looks barely able to handle an uneven road. 😑

Also for the new Derry, imo his steering radius seems off to me, like way to much. For the new ZIKZ it doesn't make sense not being capable of having the blue crane along with the cargo bed. I hope they tweak it.

I think the CAT from base game has it's own separate water tank addon since beggining of the game, but it's hidden in game files. Just like log carrier was hidden untile Wisconsin.

All i want is a proper manual mode for steering wheel users, and optional reverse in auto mode for those who don't want it. Also would be neat to see maps based in Finland, but the terrain might be too similar to Russia. Maybe some Finnish trucks like Sisu?

Season 9 will be out soon. Will there be a fix to season 8. The Experimental field task is able to complete. When drop off samples. The like hot potato contract doesn’t open the warehouse or restart the field to finish the second part of the task. I’m on PS4. I don’t know if this problem happens to everyone.? I can’t move on to the next task after it. I can’t continue to work on finishing season 8.

Yeah, the Derry definitely has some balancing issues it flips on very questionably small hills and it also lacks high saddle for some reason. I think the unique tires should have mud tire performance they look so much nicer than the vanilla ones most trucks have. The Zikz looks good, but it should have always on diff in my opinion and the Derry as well to keep up with the Azov 8x8, but I like the small Zikz a bit more. New maps truly look beautiful can't wait to play them in the live server. The water tank mechanics are very cool liquid transport is something I've always wanted. Looks like a great start into the new year thank you very much for this news video good as always 👍

I wish they made a transfusion mechanic to the base game regions to every fuel is needed to be delivered. Much more interesting this way than simply moving barrels with fuel or fuel trucks/trailers

That 8x8 has a really nice train horn. Can't pinpoint exactly what it sounds like though, not my strength.

Any talk of adding proper co-op with shared progression? The only reason I stopped playing this game is because of how bad coop is. Its shame because my buddy and I were really enjoying it until we realized practically none of our progress was being shared.

I wish that they would have some more american military trucks. I think a JLTV would be a really cool scout vehicle

This DLC has trashed my game, I get the message"VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found" Reinstalling the program may fix this. I have removed and reinstalled Epic game launcher and snowrunner and still no go. Same message. Can anyone advise please? (PC).

The water addons should bei Red Like firetrucks are supported to be And all Trucks should bei having firelights and Siren optional. And id Love a unique Setup for Tatra 813. It hast a awesome Red and neon color Option Wich suits The firefighter Theme. Tatras are Common in Europe as firetrucks
