Hi Shaun. We are so very sorry to hear about your Sister 😢 Very sad news. At least she is no longer suffering ❤ Life is too short. I'm glad you seem to be sticking with your Lawn Right career. You do a brilliant job, so please never give up. We all feel low from time to time. Looking forward to all your future videos. Love always Xx
With my deepest sympathy with the passing of your sister. Have lost my parents prior years n still feel the loss to this day! Kudos for upload. Anticipating ur next one. Peace
Hi Sean, Very sorry to hear about your sister passing, lost my Father this last year he loved daffodils so I made sure there was a great showing of daffodils in his garden this so he could look down and smile. I hope all the sunflowers come out this year for sister as it will her smile.
I'm down in the south east and finding the time between working and rain it has been so hard to keep up with the early lawn maintenance. I have finally managed to get down to the middle depth setting of the mower and i'm now looking at the rain coming down outside wondering when i can get another cut in. Hopefully it wont be 2 weeks between mows, again!
You are doing very well too be were your at with what you just been through, was going to cut my post stamp of a lawn but woke up this morning to the sound of rain hitting the window but I’m still working on the bathroom anyway good luck.👍👍👍👍👍👍
Good morning Shaun. So sorry to hear about the passing of your sister… I know it was a difficult time few. You a few weeks ago. Never forgotten… time is a great healer. Love your vids. and your dog! Springs is coming and you’re be rushed off your feet…. Keep well mate. B🤓
My seeding project is finally bearing fruit this morning! Took a lot longer than normal but thats the time of year we are in. Looking forward to seeing the sunflowers! Grow a big one and you can win a blue peter badge!
you could plant the sunflower sees in a large pot and then it can be moved to the best/safest position. you can always then move it into a permanent spot once it is established.
You'll get there partner, personally I don't think that anytime temporary is ever a good thing. You have worked so hard on your own lawn and I think it deserves priority, the fencing is a project that requires a fair bit of investment, but it's also something that can be done in stages as the finances dictate. No matter what, you'll get there. Myself and I'm sure all your followers will be rooting for you (excuse the pun) and belated condolences on the loss of your sister. Keep well friend. Best wishes from Northern Ireland. 👍
It was a nice enough seed but had not crept. So I'm kind of undecided.. Probably needed to run with it a bit longer.. I still have some so you never know
I know a good time to seed is late March early April when frost is pretty much very unlikely, but would you wait until there is a nice sunny week to really help with the germination or can seed actually germinate in dark overcast days where temp is like 12c? Keep up the great videos anyway, Ive been enjoying them for a while. Had a good chuckle the other day at you trying to get the scarifier up the ramp :)
Ha ha lol. It was kind of a fun challenge.. Yes it'll still germinate.. It's the moisture and temperature initially then the sun helps once it pokes through😊😊
@@LawnRight I'm about to start my lawn care for this year. I've just started mowing the last week or so and also put down some Liquid Seaweed and some spring fertiliser just this week. I wont be overseeding for a good 3 or 4 weeks yet, but have a question regarding that actually. Can I fertiliser the lawn if the seed is growing or would it be top strong? Is it best to have the nutrients already in the soil at the time of throwing down the seed, then not fertilise again until a couple months once the grass is really sprouting up?
@@TonyTurbo78 hi it's best to have nutrients in around the same time.. Just avoid high nitrogen feeds.. Instead a preseed Fertiliser should be used or an sutumn/winter fert as its more about health and roots
Hi.. Hyundai are pretty good.. ( amzn.to/3TFMPAY) Actually thinking about one for certain things myself in the future.. Other than that electric would be the cheaper option
About to start my lawn renovation in the next couple weeks when temperatures rise, what grass seed brands do you recommend, and which pressed fertiliser is best for after scarifying/overseeding?
@@LawnRight thank you for taking your time to reply during this difficult time, I’m about to scarify in the next 2-3 weeks, should I apply anything before this such as a moss killer or lawn feed?
Sean you have an amazing 25.8 thousand Subscribers. You have, do and will teach us all things that save us £100's, $'s, €'s etc etc every year. We don't all just watch and go. Many people listen and live your life story. Tips, advice you give freely, the laughs and smiles you put on our faces. Not to mention the Goth Transgender nail polish on your thumbnail. Not to mention the tears we have shed, seeing your usual smiley, cheeky face, traumatised with your personal loss. I, as i am sure many of your Subscribers, could help you to help us learn from your garden renovation ideas. Set up a "Go Fund Me Page". Set the rate to around £10,000 for materials and costs. That means if 'Everyone' put 40p you reach your target. If 'Half' of us put 80p you reach your target. You have followers all over the World Sean! You may think it's too cheeky. Do a video headed 'Should I Go Fund My Shared Garden Project?'. Explain a Subscriber mentioned it and ask for comments. I, although 60 and on Benefits, due to how you have helped me transform my garden, would gladly give £50. But no more Goth nail varnish! Don't sit there pondering. Get the video sorted, get replies, then do or don't do it.
You're so kind and one of the funniest people to comment on my videos 🤣.. I'll create a post and gauge feedback. 😊😊.. I will get the garden sorted soon enough it's just been a few hard months but getting there
Sorry to hear about your sister. The lawn can take a back seat for the moment. Here mine is flooded again after only 2 days of rain. 100% saturated soil! Take care!
