Hell yeah, I look forward to these uploads every Monday and Tuesday. A little "fun fact" if that's how you choose to look at it, when Sebas kills Havish, the guy that was beating on the woman, he didn't kill him outright but rather Sebas hit him in such a way that he layed there slowly dying in agony for an extended period of time.

I love how the ending visuals start with the evil look of the princess. In the full ending you could always see the nice princess and then for a glimpse she changes to the evil one, but usually people miss that.

Sebas is the one made by the most amazing and astounding player... who surrounded himself with players who liked to role-play the villain. He used to be the leader of the guild and he and another prominent member (the guy who most loved to play the villain) got into an argument and ains became the leader of the guild because both sides trusted his judgement and arbitration. Sebas and his creator were not the norm in the guild, sadly. the only other member who came close was cocytus's creator, who was obsessed with samurai and the loyal retainers who followed them.

Gotta say I been waitin on this episode for a while. This episode is great. The way the ending plays into the scene with the princess and goes into her looking all crazy, chills every time. That art is amazing

In the first Scene we see an initial dialogue in which Sebastian promises to leave most of the criminals alive so that they can be arrested, but then we see that in reality (although he forgives some) Sebastian really plans to kill the vast majority for the sake of protecting Tuare. Climb's magical bells were a gift from the warrior Gagaran of Blue Rose, who precisely gave them to him to protect him because she is very fond of him. The brothel is a place for rich depraved and the fat man is a sadistic madman. In the novel it is specified that Sebastian's kick to his stomach did not kill him immediately, but that he suffered for hours, but with his stomach destroyed he could not make sounds for help. Then we see Climb's duel against "The Demon of Illusions" Succulent. This is the last of the 6 most powerful combatants of the 8 Fingers, known as The 6 Arms. He is considered the weakest of all of them because his abilities are mainly for deception and are not that offensive. Cocodoll was originally the head of the slave trade division, but Princess Renner managed to enable slavery and so now he has to settle for running the brothels. That is why he has a great hatred for the princess and when he recognizes Climb, it occurs to him to torture him in order to punish Renner in some way. Well, first of all, thank you very much for reacting to this and for commenting, I'm really glad to see that all the info is well received. Succulent is adamantite rank, but barely, because his powers are not as attacking as others. Also, at first, he didn't plan to fight Climb but to capture him. Climb instead just used Sebastian's training, willingly putting himself on a knife edge (almost dying) to unlock the limit of his potential, hence he could last that long, though in the end he inevitably lost. That's why the fight between Climb and Succulent seemed a bit even at first. Now, the most important plot twist of this chapter. First of all, I want to clarify that Princess Renner is a human and it is not an impostor. When she talks about "wearing this face" she means that is choosing between the expressions that she has carefully constructed throughout her life so that everyone thinks she is foolish or naive. But she's actually a master manipulator. What she does at the end is choose a face that makes her look "especially naive" while talking to the maid, because she knows that this is actually a spy who tells everything to 8 fingers. For some reason, she wants the mafia to know where the prostitutes who have just been rescued by Climb are. Later in the novel it is revealed to us that all those girls were killed by the 8 fingers in an attempt to leave no witnesses. In case it's not clear, Renner is a Yandere, a Japanese word to refer to a person with a sweet and pleasant personality on the outside, but hostile and aggressive on the inside. In some cases, she can even kill, so that they do not get in the way of her personal love objectives. All that "Golden Princess" stuff is just an act. Renner is actually a psychopath who is completely obsessed with Climb and does everything to look like the perfect princess in front of him, but in reality, she has no feelings for anyone else and is even thinking of killing all the all the palace maids who have laughed at Climb. She probably didn't like the idea of any of the girls saved in the brothel falling in love with Climb and so she made sure they all died by revealing his location to the maid in the final scene. So yes. The poor guy is pretty screwed and he doesn't even know it. It turns out that the second prince was absolutely right to call his sister "Monster". And the best thing is that all this was already seen coming. Because if one paid attention to the Ending song and the part in which the princess appeared, her true personality is represented for a second there. But hardly anyone does, so it came as a surprise to almost everyone who hasn't read the novel. Well, I hope that has cleared everything up to this point. What a turn! One of the most sadly famous that has been seen in an Anime, especially after the adventure with Sebastián.

This episode is why I like Overlord. As "evil" as some of them are, they get it.

It never gets old watching people fall for the Renner trap

The way Sebas killed the guy was he kicked in his stomach which caused him to die a slow agonising death

I ask everyone to please not spoil Renner beyond what was shown during the ending of this episode. He has said he plans to watch the other seasons so he will have a better understanding later, let him stay in mystery until then, please. I personally can't wait to see his reaction to the emotion bait in Season 3 with the sisters. And when that episode happens ill be happy to explain their fate.

Hey man. I like Overlord, watched all four seasons and read all light novel volumes. So, I like to see people reactions to the anime. Let me tell you that your reactions are quite fun to watch, because it feels like you are deeply moved by it all. No bullshit, no content comments and opinions, just raw emotion from you. Thanks, it is really enjoyable. On a side note, you can really see Brain's character development here. The anime portraits it really well. From a low life to much more. Will spare you the spoilers. when renner was introduced, her brother kept calling her a monster. So her being not quite right in the head was forshadowed :D

I was waiting for that end scene with Princess Renner. Because you kept saying how she was a sweetheart and I just laughed out loud XD

A bit of back story. Renner was an extremely gifted child, to the point people around her including even her family regarded her as a monster. She felt that animosity and so on ever growing up. This made her extremely disattached from humans, which grew to full sociopathic tendencies. The only thing she really cares about is Climb, aside from that she can feel awe and fear. According to author, if Nazzarick didn't appear her drive towards Climb and her genius would have allowed the kingdom to witness never before seen prosperity and major improvements for the citizens.

The thing with Reiner is that she is really intelligent and a sociopath. the only thing important to her in the world is Climb, because she never felt anything for anyone except for him. He is like a pup that sees her as a perfect being, with devotion and a great smile, and she will do everything to keep watching him adore her like that

I can't wait for you to start reacting to Season 3 of Overlord, in my opinion season 3 is an eye-opener,where you finally start understanding most things about Overlord and it's where things start getting really interesting even if the are few fight scenes compared to this season....I can't wait

Just so you know demiurge uses ‘Abelion sheep’ or ‘bi-pedal sheep’ to make scrolls they are actually humans and demiurge says sheep as a joke and thinks ainz also thinks it’s a joke but ainz just has no idea p.s. albedo also knows they are human

Fun fact, we're gonna hear that "Why don't you stop here?" multiple times in this season and all end up in pretty good battles and absolute beat ups for the ones who heard them

Reiner is a yandere. If you try something against Climb she well destroy you. Plus, this chapter setted the seed for season 4 most important plot. In this season Sebas tooks most of the attention but the womans you see on the ending song are the important to grow the underline plot on the season 2 to 4 with little but importat participations... the devil is on the details.

Just in case if you don't know what a yandere is since some people are commenting it, a Yandere is a person "kills/harm for their love" and is the personification of the saying, "if I can't have you, no one can." Also, violence is necessary when the person they love is being harmed in any way, physical, emotional, or verbal, such as the example in the episode.
