What better way to social distance than to head out into the middle of nowhere and shoot steel at 1500 yards. It was pretty windy, which made some of the shots tough, but it also let me break down some stuff, which ends up being pretty cool.

Thanks for the comment - yes, the 300 PRC is awesome :) I like it so much that I'm getting a new custom one made. The stock just came in (Manners) and I'm taking the parts to the smith.

I've come home from work and thought about the things I said to you on The Hide. I've eaten and relaxed....and I still hate you :) I'm sooo jealous. I'm now looking at my 300PRC.....it's looking back up at me and asking to go outside and play....and I can't take the little fellow out :( Maybe this weekend little fella....maybe this weekend.

I have a private range I go to, but it only gets me out to 1200 yards. During different times of the year, I go to different places. This spot is in BLM land in CA which opens up to vehicular traffic after the first major rain of the season (coming soon, I hope). During the summer, I have a few spots I go in the Sierra Nevadas and points east.
